Was getting the P003A and sporadically the P2563 codes on my 2011 LML Duramax with 60,500 miles on the odometer. After a lot of research I was pretty confident codes were due to the vane position sensor but didn’t want to spend over $400 for the AC Delco factory replacement part. Decided to try this much cheaper replacement part. Part seemed to be well made and looked exactly like old factory part. Installed new part and have received no new codes after over 250 miles of driving. Can tell truck has more power at lower RPMs. A couple of things to note: 1) you will need a 1†sensor socket to remove/ replace the sensor., 2) remove both negative battery cables before replacing the sensor., 3) after replacing the sensor turn your ignition on until the CEL light goes out and then start the truck. Some say you will need to take the truck to the dealer to program the new sensor but I followed the above procedures and have had no issues. The ECM will actually relearn the new sensor as you drive the vehicle. Happy with this new sensor and also happy with the money I saved!

Bought this for a 2007 Chevy 3500 classic with LBZ engine. Sensor fixed the problem. My one gripe would be the attached cable is about 4-6 inches shorter than the OEM but was able to route around (the OEM routing requires removal of several items). Would recommend as a fix for vane position sensor error.

No instructions with the part.Watched video online.Routing the wire the same as it was took the most time.Used a pair of wire cutter to cut off the old blue mounting tabs from the metal bracket, was easy to push new part tabs back into mounting bracket.

I usually don’t care to write reviews but if anyone else having an issue with the turbo vane position sensor and don’t want to spend $300+ on a OEM one then give this one a try. I was a little iffy about it as well at first but then I thought I can always return and get OEM If it doesn’t work. It solved my issue and CEL went away. The truck is back to running smooth with no reprogramming needed.

This part was an exact replacement for my LLZ engine in a 07 Silverado Classic. However, I continued to get a trouble code until I took it to a shop to have the sensor calibrated with the turbo. The vanes still weren't actuating to 100% so the technician did the oven cleaner trick and it runs great now with no smoke and no codes.

It did fix my idle issue but my turbo was going bad, so it worked for what it could

I received the item and the product is defective. Buyers beware make sure you have your items tested within the return window. The body shop I took my truck too could not get to the fix within the 30 day windows so I paid for an item that is defective and can not return.

Sensor was expensive from GM/Chev. Thought I'd try this part off Amazon for a fraction of the cost. It's held up fine now for the last 17-18 months since I ordered and installed it. Only thing I'd recommend is watch how you route it. Can get hot back there so maybe wrap in some loom or heat tape to be safe. I wasn't careful and the wire shielding melted a bit on mine. Didn't trip a code or cause issues, so wrapped it in heat tape myself. Only noticed it while doing some maintenance on the truck one day.

I was hoping this would eliminate the turbo boost control position sensor code, but it wasn't the issue. It works fine and there was no noticeable difference in performance. Easy install and came with new heat shield and metal tire strap

Bought this as a cheaper alternative to chasing an issue I was having. Truck was throwing code P0046. Wasn’t sure if it was the vane sensor or actuator. Instead of buying the $400 dollar OEM sensor I got this and solved my issue. Now we will see how long it lasts. So far, I am happy with the product.
