Made well, makes it easier to work on my standup look. Holds the material in place with less loose ends that I have to cut off which leaves me with more material in my rug. I am very happy with the quality and workmanship.

The shuttle is great and sturdy but it is a bit thicker than advertised. They advertise it as 0.1 inches thick, however this is at the edge. The middle part, which is also the thickest, is closer to 0.2 inches thick. This may interfere with smaller weaves.

I love that this has rounded edges to pick easier while still holding the yarn. Wood was well sanded with no edges. Going to replace my shuttles with this one!

This is a smaller, sturdy shuttle, for weaving on a small loom, card loom, inkle loom, or other narrow-type of weaving loom; would be good for back-strap weaving as well. It can have a rough spot here and there, so inspect prior to use, and be prepared to sand any rough spots smooth with light sand paper or a sanding sponge/sanding block... or use a dremel tool to lightly grind away any rough spots. I feel it is a good value for the money despite an occasional rough spot. Just take note of the size of this shuttle - it IS a smaller sized one.

I love this for a smaller weaving technique and is great to use for sumac technique and a third color when clasp weaving.
