I was looking for a way to cut some very tall palms with my pole saw. It was too high for just the saw. A ladder was not a great option for stability on the rungs. Getting on the roof of the house is not for me. So I bought this and added out near a top rung on my ladder (Gorilla folding ladder). With a homemade safety harness (I do live in Florida), I was able to stand on the platform like I was in the ground, with no instability. I was able to complete the job that would have cost $150+ for someone else to do. Great purchase.

Some reviewers were disatisfied with this platform and bought a much more expensive brand. I can't speak to their experience, but mine has worked well on an old Cosco multi-mode ladder. By multi-mode I mean it can be used as either a step or an extension ladder.

Game changer. I’m not a big fan of climbing a ladder up 15 feet but with this i was able to install a fan light with ease being able to stand on this.

No reviews stating that it works on anything but a a little giant ladder Yes it works on construction ladders too.Also it works on A-frame ladders which is a big plus.

Easily fits my adjustable ladder from Harbor Freight. It's heavy, so you have to remember to remove it before you move or break down the ladder, but it will hold anything that fits on it. Can of paint or a drill is no problem. Lots of holes in odd sizes to hold screws, tools, etc. Highly recommend.
