The screws and drywall anchors are to small. Had to use bigger ones to give real security to the wall. The mount itself is good, had to bend it in my vise to get the skull to mount.

Works fine and sturdy… had to bend it a little with a pair of pliers and vice. Other than that works wellðŸ‘ðŸ½

the tangs with blue covers are not long enough. Do not stick into the skull opening enough. I felt that if I used this mount that my skull would fall off the wall easily.

These worked great for hanging a deer skull. I did have to bend the tab so that the antlers weren’t hitting the wall but I’ve used other similar mounts that cost more than double what these brackets do in the past and had to bend them as well. I don’t think I would trust the mounts for an elk sized skull but deer sized and down I would have no hesitation.

I bought the blue ones, not sure if there is a difference, but it holds my 130 inches while tale without any modification

I couldn't get any of my skulls - even the small bucks - to stay on the hook until I used a hammer to widen the distance of the hook. The red rubber bits that come with the hooks do not stay in place ( I had to super glue them) Not a bad price but an issue with the product for sure.The "hook" isn't long enough and isn't super stable at all. **I would not trust any trophy animals on these hangers!!*****Seller contacted me on their own accord and was very kind helpful. I am hoping they will consider updating their hooks as they do work if bent a little more**
