Once upon a time in Texas, a swallow threw the plastic flowers out of a basket like this and made a nest in it. I intend to put them up under the eves in places I think a swallow would like and see if another one will come, here in the north.

Theses planters have really allowed me to brighten up my balcony area. Flowers are not included of course, and very easy to install (I used zip ties)

My wife likes to grow her own herbs, but deer tend to come and eat them before they can be harvested. I ordered these hanging planters to attach to the railing of our second floor deck to see if she could grow her herbs unmolested there. These two planters are a lot smaller than I envisioned, largely because what you’re actually getting is a 12 inch planter sectioned into two. So, the back side of each planter is flat. They each come with a wire rack to hold the planter which can be hung up with screws on any flat surface like a wall or railing or strapped to a horizontal pole. In our case, they’re easily hung up on the edge of our deck railing.Overall, these are nice half moon planters, although they’re a little expensive for what you get. No screws or hardware to hang them is included, and they are not even packed in a bag, much less a box. surely, four screws could have been included at this price. But, if you’re looking for this type of planter, they do what they’re advertised to do.
