I think it is a little expensive for what it is, but no real basis of comparison so just my opinion. I have one cat who’s mission in life seems to be furniture destruction, and after buying a new recliner I bought the Laminet clear plastic cover in the hope of preventing or at least delaying feline furniture massacre. The cover fits the recliner very well, and the only thing that would be helpful is if it had elastic or drawstring at the bottom to cinch it more tightly around the base of the chair, as the determined cat can fit between the plastic cover and the chair and work her evil on the fabric. However, the plastic seems to cause her to avoid the chair, so thus far it has served its purpose very well. Removes quickly when the chair needs to be used, although when sitting for only a short time can leave the cover in place, but it does wrinkle the plastic quite a bit. Overall a functional product that is much easier to use than draping king-size sheets to protect. I don’t remember for certain, but seem to recall the listing said made in the USA, which is a bonus.

I bought this for the sole purpose of protecting my recliner from my cats who try to use my recliner as a scratch post. The cover is large enough to cover a variety of sizes of recliners. Mine is on the smaller side, so we did have to purchase (separately) furniture tacks to prevent my cats from getting under the cover. I also purchased separately a small recliner cover so that I would not be sitting on plastic. The cover has held up beautifully to four cats, and is easy to clean. I had to buy a second one after the first one was lost in a move.

If you could fill this cover with air, it would create a rectangular box with a tilted roof. The shape does not resemble a chair. Because of this, the only use it is good for is a dust cover.The selling point for me was that they advertised it as protection against animal wear and tear. They even had a photo in the product description with a cat sitting on top of the chair with the plastic on it (obviously photoshopped, but it suggesed it was possible). If your cat or dog were to do this, the weight on the plastic in the center of your couch would cause the plastic being held up by the arms to sag, but the unfitted plastic is not shaped for this so the skirt around the feet of the couch comes up to expose the couch to the animal who will later mark it, scratch it, or rub dander on it. The poor fit makes the ability for it to be sold as protection against animals a stretch of the imagination at best. Especially considering how the overehelming majority of humans are likely to be the one sitting on your couch with the cover on it anyway. You will be sabotaged by anyone or anything sitting on this couch.I spent too much money on this to toss it, but as it is ripped from using it as intended but as General wear and tear it is unlikely a return is possible.Don't waste your money. Buy painters tarp and create your own.

Good product, comes big, could possibly fit over a recliner chair. Only complaint is the plastic ripped at the seams because of sitting in it so many times the plastic bunches up on seat and that caused it to stretch and then rip, ultimately my fault because i taped the back of the back chair where extra plastic was to give it a more fitted look. I should of gave more slack. I just taped where it ripped and after each use just be aware to pull the plastic back out of seat where it bunches up.

The plastic is a heavy and durable product. They are the perfect solution to keep my cats from scratching on my furniture and keeping the chairs clean. The size is a little too big for the chairs, but I just tucked it in the cushions to get rid of the excess.

I bought this product and have used only a week and it is already ripped. Now i bought this for a chair that my child sits in as well and i expected his to rip since he is a bit rough with furniture in the first place. But all i do is sit in my chair and the whole side at the stitching just came apart. the funny thing is that i can not really even find any decent rated replacements for something like this so i am stuck with it. I seriously doubt that any replacement would be offered so i wont even bother. How so many gave this superb ratings is beyond me. I am sure the plastic works fine if you dont sit on it. But if you plan on actually using it you may have the same issues that i did.

The cover fits my massage recliner well. The dimensions of the cover is as specified, and the materialis fairly durable without being stiff.
