Easy to use and helped me find the parts failed in the noisy engine bay. It's the alternator this time. It amplified the sound a lot so be careful not to hit the tip to avoid very loud sound.

Used these to find noises on car engines. The work good for the value and easy to use. Some of these are too loud but I think these are fust right for my ears.

I have hd a noise from a wheel bearing on my car for a while now. It didn't make enough noise to locate the bad one. I ordered these stethoscopes and while it was jacked up on jackstands I put it in drive to rotate the wheels... I was easily able to identify the problem bearing. I highly recommend this tool, so much cheaper than guessing where the problem is and replacing unnesseary parts as well as wasted time. Yhis will easily pay for itself with ONE diagnosis!

I don’t know wether to be mad or happy with this product for the price it’s great but it helped me find out my jeep has rod knock so I sent a rod to the moon and now I’m mad, the ear piece could be better not very noise canceling so it’s hard to narrow down where the noise your looking for is coming from, good price, product works… kinda, I’m still mad.

It is cheap, both in price and workmanship. There were two of them stuffed in a box that would be better suited for one. The plastic tubes were severely crimped and collapsed. I'm still working on getting them to expand back to normal and stay. Having said all that... they work well for what they are.
