Pants worked great. They have cinched, elastic sides for a better fit. My son wore them all day in rain and snow activities. He stayed warm and dry, but not too warm when the sun was out. They are fleece lined, but do not have a boot liner so you could get snow/moisture up the pant leg, but we did not. I'm happy with the quality and he was happy with the comfort. He's almost 9 - 4'8.5" 62lbs & 22 inch waist. I ordered the 10/12 they are tiny bit big in the waist, but stayed up fine. I was worried the 8 might be too short & hoped these would carry into next season.

We brought these to Iceland and our 6 year old wore them nearly every day because the waterproofing was great. The length was true to size but Size 6 was snug on him so I’d plan on sizing up, especially if you plan on layering under them.They were the perfect temperature since it was windy and in the 50s. He stayed warm and dry.

My daughter attends an all outdoor farm preschool and she needed waterproof warm pants that were not thick snow pants or just water-proof rain slickers. I had a hard time finding what I was looking for until I found these!We ordered a size 5 for my petite 4T wearing 4 1/2 year old, the waist is pretty snug which was a surprise but the length was ample. They are warm. The waist also fits at her true waist and the fly is long, different than most of her girl pants, but they have held up well and the price was really fair for what they are. I would recommend.

My kid loves these, but waist is kind of big for the size and he has to keep pulling them up if he doesn’t wear thick pants underneath. Had hoped to wear as only layer of pants for school days . They do make a scratching noise when he walks, Like regular snow pants,which I’d hoped to avoid with this fabric. Otherwise seem really well-made.

I bought a size 12/14 for an average height (5' 1") and weight (80lbs) almost 13 year old and these fit just perfect. The belt is helpful for extra help in keeping the pants up. They are just a little long for him so he will hopefully get some use out of them. He used them for a campout. He spent around 4 hours outside at one time and was not cold at all. He said they kept the cold out. He could move easily in them, sit down, get up, roll around. He has worn them four or five times now and they are still holding up well.

Bought a pair of these for my son and niece to take on our winter trip. And this was The best money I ever spent! Kept them dry and warm without being bulky and uncomfortable. I used the size chart and the Fit was perfect, they have a little stretch to them which was nice as well.

We live in the north west and winters get quite cold here. My kids school has an outdoor recess policy all year round, I love this actually. But sending them in full snow gear to school just seems to be a bit much and frankly they start to roast when they get inside because they don't have time to disrobe a whole snow suit. These pants are fantastic for snow days that you want your kids to not have wet pants but don't want them wearing a full down outfit. They are stylish too which my kids loved. I wouldn't recommend them for any type of ski days, they aren't warm enough for that. But for school, they're great.

My son stayed warm in these ski pants. We went to Canada in the -10 to -20 degree Fahrenheit weather. They were big (see comment below) and did not come with a belt, but it does have belt loops.My son is 11 and normally wears a 14 in pants. I probably could of got him a 12 and been fine. He will just have these for next winter as well.
