Purple is a bright purple and almost looks pink. The only issue I had with the gun was the wiring from the factory. Lt gen3 are currently having a wiring problem with the nebula mosfet with the power cables to the battery have a fault in them and the gun won't turn on. Lancer tactical knows about it and as long as you don't void your warranty then you good. 2-4 week turn around time for you to send your gun into lt and get it back.

I will echo a few other reviews. The materials in this model are solid and well made. I haven't had any issues with the gun breaking, like others. But for the price, it should have come with a battery and charger. I understand the benefit for those with several personal chargers and not having to "pay extra" for it b/c its in this gun, but as a first time purchase, I would have wanted to have it included. Especially as it wasn't clear to me on what exact battery and charger is best for this gun. There are styles of batteries, different charges, and it wasn't as easy as i wanted for batteries, nor the knowledge if I could buy a higher capacity battery or if it would damage the gun wiring. Just to many unknown's for a first time buyer. I needed to have it handled better for me, not being an airsoft expert. Overall, happy with the guy itself, it comes with more options to add-on, so you can keep investing money if you want, or its fun to shoot out of the box (IFFFFFFF you alreayd have a battery on hand)

It should state in the title and in an obvious place that the special battery is not included. Because the gun is not usable without the battery, and because of the higher price point, it should be included. Sad kids on Christmas Day, as we didn’t read the fine print, so didn’t also order the battery. Of course that’s our fault, but still frustrating none the less. I will add more details to this review after we receive the battery, and are able to use the gun.

Haven't used this yet and will update once I have the battery and charger to use it..... Spending $230 you would expect everything you need to shoot be in the box minus ammo.

Overall not bad but was kinda flimsy and that’s what I didn’t like about it not sturdy enough shook around and that wasn’t for me
