I’m happy with the stretchers. I’ve stretched out three pair of tight shoes already. A big improvement over the old style wood ones I had that were my mothers many years ago. Easy to use and come with a handy storage bag. I think they are well made and am happy with this purchase. I very good value also.

Summary: Get this product, double check the approximate size of your shoe though! Minor improvement suggested for some cases but easily worked around with some tapeObviously a cheap to construct product, and priced very cheaply, but definitely not “cheap†quality, and well designed to be versatile. Very rugged and well put together, I wasn’t able to break it by forcing it into a pair of Doc Martens boots that were too small for the size of the product I orderedI deduct a star with a simple criticism- the wings (black side attachments) snap into piece flush- they work great.However, the top pieces (used for stretching the height of a shoe/boot) don’t fit snug on top of the piece due to the curvature, nor do they snap or fasten on. Because of this, deeper shoes (boots, really) with a tight fit will cause the top stretching piece to slip unless you tape it in place, or have a lot of slack in the shoe/boot. scotch packing tape works fine.This is probably perfect for most shoes but for tough boots with a tight squeeze, I was forced to tape the top piece to the device to prevent it from sliding up out of the boot.I’m not deducting a point for my mistake, which was assuming this was “one size fits all†- MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE WOMEN’S SIZE FOR USE ON A WOMEN’S SHOE! Oops!This is obvious in retrospect, but I didn’t notice the alternate sizes on the order page and mistook them for alternate colors only.I’ll be ordering a women’s size to finish the project more correctly but with the adjustability of the product and some good old packing tape, I think the job might be done even using the incorrect size. I’ll save this size for use with men’s sizesFor those curious, this was used on a women’s mid-boot bt Dr Marten- notoriously firm and difficult to stretch without breaking the stretching tool. It had no problems stretching it nor did it damage itAll in all, very happy with this product, and the price is terrific!

I wish I had thought to buy something like this after I was pregnant and my feet grew. These work very well.. I used them on bearpaw suede boots. I bought kids bc I liked the style but they were slightly too small.. these shoe stretchers worked so well and now they fit as they should!

These shoe stretchers work great, i’ve used them on stiff leather boots. I’ve used them on my leather drivers. I’ve used them on tennis shoes. The little extras to pop on for corns and bunions work really well and I had to laugh at some of the reviews who were complaining about the large black piece, not being able to stick or having to tape it to the top of the stretcher, that’s not how you use it. This is to put at the base of the heel if you want to lengthen the shoe a little bit, not on top of the stretcher, which could possibly puncture leather or make marks in the shoe! My suggestion read the directions before you leave reviews. This is a really good product so glad I found it.!

I think it would have worked great. Well built, nice instructions, extra pieces available for needed extra stretching, but I returned only because my son decided not to keep the shoes we were going to attempt to stretch.
