This cooling fan works REALLY well for my laptop. My laptop has adjustable fan speeds itself but I noticed that when playing marvel rivals that my laptop (even on turbo speed) was too hot to touch, so I bought this to help it out and it keeps it at a comfortable temperature! No other game was causing that or even needed to be at turbo speed, which I have had this laptop since 2019 and have played Xbox, epic, steam, EA, and etc platforms on it without issues. If you are wondering if this is the cooling fan for you then I would highly recommend you get it! The sound can be loud, but it was also combating my turbo speed laptop fans, so I feel that is okay with me. The lights on the fans aren't noticeable, so no worries on that.

A straight up quick review ~PROs:1) Price2) Actually feels sturdy, it's got a little weight to it, not a lot, but it doesn't just "look" sturdy from the pics3) Takes a USB, and gives a USB. Good4) Two different settings on the back legs. I like it!5) Front stop pegs aren't too short or too big...they're just right!6) Multiple fan settings! Now I'm impressed!CONs:1) I didn't get a second one to take to work with me :-(If you're not happy with the one you have, or some part of it broke off like the one I had, don't wait, save your tape, stop using toothpicks, anti-slip shelf lining, etc, and get one of these!

The product is actually great, it is competent and does as advertised, I've even used it to cool-down SSD's when I use my SSK to store data. How effective is the product? Hard to say honestly, but my various tests have established that the SSK unit goes from an average temperature of 60-70°C (They get pretty hot when they run a lot of data) to about 20-30°C, which is honestly impressive and that is just with one of the big fans (since the SSK unit is rather small, see the image for more details) I would dare say that the cooling-pad should be able to reduce the heat by 20°C which is A LOT for a laptop, specially if you are gaming. I know I said the SSK ran cooler by 30-40°C but that is not only a smaller device (which facilitates heat dispersion), but it is also comprised of aluminum which is a good metal to disperse heat, laptops are mostly plastic which are not great heat conductors.However there is a problem with the cooling-pad regarding design. On the top of it you have the LIANSTAR logo, over various uses that logo has begun to split from the cooling-pad itself, watch my 1st annexed image, this can make the cooling-pad not look as cool this happens due to the position of the logo being directly under the exhaust of the laptop itself (especially noticeable for 15 inch laptops). For future revisions I would recommend:-Make the pad more squared sometimes its annoying when I want to pack it in my bag and those irregular edges clash with the insides of the bag or other things like books, however the size and slope are perfect, its good for a 15.4 inch laptop, I might test it on a 16 and 17 inch but probably will not due to the following reasons.-Remove the LIANGSTAR logo and expand the cooling mesh upwards (Put the logo on that space located under the two non-slip deflectors). Mainly because on gaming laptops or those with a 15 to 17 inch form factor have their exhaust located on the sides and back, which would absolutely demolish that logo in a matter of 3-4 months, the larger the laptop gets the more centered are the cooling fans on that logo. Personally my laptop took around 8-9 months to produce that damage, the plastic became warped and you can sorta see the glue sticking out between the 2 layers of plastic.-Last maybe put an option to turn down the lights, sometimes I work at night and the light can be annoying (check the 3rd annexed image)-Phone stand is useless, never used it and I honestly think it should go, even having a phone on the stand would make typing incredibly uncomfortable, unless you type with one hand. Instead lower the two non-slip deflectors so a bigger laptop can take full advantage of the cooling mesh.Overall good product: Solid build quality for the most part, the materials used are not subpar but the design does not implement them properly, there are some questionable design choices like the location of the LIANGSTAR logo, phone stand and non-slip deflectors. It would seem like the product was made for a 13 inch laptop since that size can take full advantage of the cooling capabilities of the pad.

This cooling pad works really well for my 15 inch gaming laptop, it keeps my razer laptop alive during long gaming sessions without distracting me with fan noise. I was worried that the three fans might cause the noise of the cooling system to be quite loud, but the noise is actually barely noticeable.The pads internal light looks great, and it isn't so bright that it distracts you, but gives enough of a color to really pop while it is underneath your pc.It also is great for me as a laptop stand even without the fans and lights as I prefer to type on a slanted keyboard rather than just laying my laptop down flat while on my desk.It installs just by plugging in a USB, no hassle with downloading and installing software, just plug and play.If you need a cheap, cool, simple, and effective solution for ventilating your laptop, it doesn't get much better than this.

I'm so glad I bought this! I have been debating buying a fan stand for my laptop for a long time but always was like "no its not a necessity" well after having this for a few weeks I can say confidently it absolutely is a necessity if you have a laptop. Not only does it tilt the screen at the perfect angle (makes typing much more comfortable imo) but it also keeps my laptop very cool and puts less strain on the built in fans so overall improving longevity of my laptop. The USB port made it easy to install, I've had no issues with that and even the least tech savvy person wouldn't have an issue. Very sturdy on both the short stand and taller option, haven't had my laptop wobble at all on it.There is always going to be a slight fan noise obviously but when I've been on video calls no one has said anything about it, it's very quiet.Also to put into some context for how much the stand could down my laptop, my laptop used to fully blow the fans when I'd turn on sims 4, now my actual fans don't even really turn on (at least not that I've noticed)

I liked this cooling pad a lot. It lasted for 10 months. My issue was when I went to clean it (pet fur gets everywhere). There is no easy way to take it apart. You have to completely remove the metal grate via the tabs in the back to get at the internals. Today those little metal tabs that keep the grate secured to the pad snapped as I was taking it apart for cleaning. The pad itself mostly works - except one of the fans died. I wouldn't recommend this just for how much of a pain it is to maintain, and how easy it can break.

Nach den vielen positiven Rezensionen habe ich mich entschlossen dieses Produkt zu kaufen.Ich wurde leider arg enttäuscht. Die 'quiet' Fans rattern sogar auf niedrigster Drehzahl störend laut.Die unteren Positionshalter ('Abrutschsicherung') sind ohne Werkzeug oder sehr lange Fingernägel kaum aufstellbar und sind so ungünstig positioniert, dass sie genau in die Handgelenke stechen, zumindest bei meinem Laptop lassen diese Halter sich nicht so einstellen, dass sie nicht über den Laptop überstehen.Weiter finde ich es extrem schlecht gelöst, dass die Stromversorgung über einen der USB- Ports erfolgt, ein fest angeschlossenes USB- Kabel hätte es auch getan und man hätte noch einen USB- Port dazugewonnen.Zur Kühlleistung kann ich noch nichts sagen, da die extrem lauten Lüfter für mich eigentlich ein Ausschlusskriterium darstellen werde ich das Produkt wohl zurückschicken, das ist mir keine 40€ wert.

Construction is sturdy enough, yet light.The six fans are quiet, not noticeable at all when playing games.Playing games without the cooling pad, the laptop becomes very hot, too hot to touch. But when the cooling pad is turned on, the laptop cools down, barely warm to the touch. Of course, the room temperature has to be cool, otherwise the fans will simply blow hot air around.The provided USB cable is about 70cm long (not mentioned in product page).The "About this item" section is incomplete. You need to scroll down to find more technical details in the "Product description" section. It says that the required input power is 4.5W (see also attached photo). Since USB operates at 5V, the current required is 0.9A (900mA). That means the USB cable should not be connected to the laptop USB port that produces only 500mA, otherwise the fans will not operate at full speed. So I connect it instead to a power bank that can regulate its output to meet the required 0.9A.
