This is ample padding to protect my 14" laptop from spills and gentle wear when transporting back and forth. I'll feel good to carry it protected in this case to and from work and the house. Only room for the laptop itself. But that's all I need. Plan to purchase a messenger bag or tote soon to carry it and other items or accessories I may need for meetings. Having this case will guarantee little things and dust wont reach the ports or key board. The color is gorgeous. I chose green and it arrived quickly. It appears to be of good quality and durable. Soft and scratch resistant
