I finally did it. I bought a potato ricer. And oh my goodness, holiday cooking is changed forever. This ricer is big, stainless steel, and easy to use. It holds a good amount of potatoes, making it quick work to go through a lot of spuds for cooking. Save your arms with hand mashing with this ricer! Potatoes come out smooth and beautiful - you don't even have to add milk to them to give that creamy consistency we all love in good mashed potatoes! Just season and add a little butter and you're good to go! Avoid overfilling (maybe stick to about 3/4 full) or the top will not set properly and you'll end up wearing potatoes when you finally get it to snap into place. Lessons were learned. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS RICER.

This is a flimsy type product not very industrial or sturdy. It’s very basic but it gets the job done only used it a few times.

I had a similar item from IKEA that was similar but had a weak hinge that collapsed when trying to press a firm Celery root. This product doesn't have that design flaw in the hinge. A better, more well designed product. Works great.

I've always used the traditional potato masher and then I saw this one. I love it! My mashed potato comes out smoother than ever. The quality is good, heavy-duty stainless steel and no sharp edges. It is worth your money!

Es ist einfacher die Kartoffeln dadurch zu pressen beim Kartoffelpüree. Es ist abe nicht so groß wie erwartet, muss man kleinere Mengen rein, ansonsten ist gut
