This is a good product, and it goes really high, but it is too steep at that height and scares my dog. Good if you don't need it to go as high since the ramp is shorter than the competitive product and therefore steeper when going to the same height. I liked that it seems to have some improvements over the competitor's product - the non-skid grippers were built in, the carpet is shorter and my cat's claws wouldn't get caught in it as easily, and it seems lighter. It is not as long and therefore steeper, but it goes higher than the competitor - which doesn't matter if it scares your cat or dog too much to use it because it is so steep. AND, If you need to return it then you must call Amazon and complain about the shipping costs. It said I had to return it via UPS and wanted to charge me $10.66 for shipping, deducted automatically. When I called Amazon they sent me a return label and said I wouldn't be charged shipping. It says that the shipper will refund my money, not Amazon. I hope they do, the full amount paid. We'll see. Best of luck deciding whether to buy this one or the competitor. Both are good quality, and similar, but different. I recommend this one for cats with claws and for lower heights. I recommend the competitor for taller heights because it is longer, or if you think you might have to return it. My dog would go up the competitor's ramp but refused to go up this one because it was too steep.
