Even in a well lit room it is still bright, a beautiful example of how these keyboards should be made , easy on the eyes.I have tried a number of these and this is the first one that is as bright as the ad shows' it to be, big letters, very clear function keys, a real problem with all the others I tried but not this one, must of been a person that is struggling with vision issues of their own that designed or helped design this keyboard because it fulfills all of the requirements, only unless the person hoping to use this is nearly at the edge of a complete loss of sight and even then it would be better then using the other keyboards I have tried. Good job, whoever designed this.

As an older guy, my eyesight has gone (dare I say it) BAD. This keyboard hits all the marks:1. The keys are big2. The letters and numbers are big3. The keyboard is well and evenly lit. The upper left is a tinsy bit dimmer, but if you don'tknow where the ESC key is, perhaps you should't have a keyboard at all and should use voice-to-textinstead.4. it is reasonably quiet, although I really don't care about that at all and don't know why anyone would.5. The key action is positive, but if your looking for a deep throw, look elsewhere.

Although I only got this yesterday, so far it is working very well. I like the lighted keyboard and the large letters, numbers, and symbols are easy to read. I also like the reinforcement where the cord goes into the keyboard, I had one former keyboard destroy itself at that juncture.

I love this keyboard. I'm old and I don't see as well as a young whipper-snapper. I'm also a bad typist and am not going to get any better. I love the large letters that are lighted and easy to see. My last keyboard had a much better feel but had pale red letters on dark gray keys. Why? I could see it.What I don't like is the feel is more like a laptop than a real keyboard. It's too lightweight and it doesn't tilt up as much as I'd like.I can live with the negatives if I can see it easily.

My previous keyboard served me well, but I really needed a USB backlit keyboard with larger characters. This keyboard allows me to see the keys even in dim light. After cataract surgery, my vision was corrected for distance but now I wear progressive readers for reading and using my PC. being USB powered means that there are no batteries and if my PC is on, the keyboard is on. The backlight feature can be toggled on and off, but I usually leave it on. Altogether, I believe this keyboard to be a good value.

Just replaced my old Logitech keyboard and connected this keyboard and to my amazement, I was able to easily navigate the keyboard without my reading glasses! Also, the tactile touch is very smooth, and clicks are quiet and subtle. Nice choice, especially for anyone who eyesight is impaired.

I gave this to my 86yr old father for Christmas. He just opened it this morning. I was very disappointed to find it is missing a key! We hooked it up, and it works, he is able to read the keyboard much easier because of the enlarged font and the back lighting. But the missing key is so obvious! We double checked the packaging, but the key is just not there. Very disappointing!Update: After writing my review I was contacted by the seller who responded quickly to my complaint. They were very helpful and offered to send what I assumed would be the missing key for the keyboard. Today, I received a new keyboard! I'm changing my review to 5 stars. First, my dad has been using the original keyboard and it has helped him so much, he has MD and seeing his keyboard has been a real challenge. This has made it much easier! Second, this seller went beyond what was necessary to make my purchase right. I'm impressed with their service. Thank you so much for making Dad's life a little bit easier!

The keyboard is ok. Large keys and bright display. That said it needs improvement.The keys are marked up incorrectly. The @ sign is marked incorrectly and not where it is marked. The hash sign and backslash are also not marked on the keyboard. I have managed to find where the hash key is hidden but cannot find the back slash anywhere.I like the keyboard and it is easy to use but it really needs these issues sorted out.If you are patient and prepared to hunt for the keys you want then buy this, otherwise give it a miss.

Probably wont suit a UK user or country where UK layout keyboards are used. It is not clear without looking closely at the picture what country this keyboard is intended for. Although being sold on the Amazon UK website this is not a UK layout keyboard. ie. there is no £ sign etc. and hash and quotes keys are swapped. Shame because the backlighting and large font makes the other keys easy to find in low light.

It’s a nice keyboard and it’s easy to see but the two keys that are highlighted are the wrong way around. The @ and the “ keys are in the wrong places. I know where they are now but this is incredibly irritating if you press the @2 key you get “2 and the “ ‘ key you get @‘ this is really really annoying.I am visually impaired and this is not what you need. It spoils what is a reasonably good keyboard but I would say it is also quite flimsy cheap plastic.

Key spacing is dreadful and sometimes almost unusable.Keys rattle and you seem to have to make stabbing movement while typing.I am sorry but this keyboard really is the worst backlit keyboard I have ever purchased,the only redeeming feature is the backlight.
