What we all hate to admit... but my eyes just loved this keyboard at first sight. The key height and action is a bit higher than what I am normally used to but nevertheless quite responsive compared to my last keyboard which was too spongy. This key action may be a bit too spongy for anyone with fine motor/hand/finger issues -- but not a problem for meThe USB Cable is a too short to reach the back of my computer where I like to plug it in so I am using a USB extender (MF) cable -- no problem. Of course, you can plug it the front, but I usually have a webcam and backup drive plugged in there. The other alternative is to use a USB hub, which I also have for my USB 3/3.1 ports.I once tried a backlit 'gaming' keyboard, but gave up on that quickly.I am very satisfied with this keyboard, recommend it, and wish all good enough vision to keep the mind active!

Got this for my mom who has the usual age-related vision loss. The giant bright keys make it so she can still type emails and such. The quality of the keyboard is very average. Definitely not a workhorse. But for her limited use it is fine. The seeing the keys part is a big improvement for her.

My mother's eyesight is slowly deteriorating so she's mistyping - like, a lot.So, I decided maybe a backlit or low vision keyboard could help. I looked at the Perixx PERIBOARD-317, the SurnQiee Large Font Keyboard, and a few others that had backlit keys. The problem was all of them had many conflicting reviews saying something like, "This thing is awesome" and "This is totally awful, do not buy".This keyboard's reviews were all very, very good. It was cheap, and I could tell from the pictures exactly what it would feel like to use.First, the keys are large, square, and have more travel than a normal laptop keyboard, but not as much as a traditional desktop keyboard - they're also insanely easy to register a keystroke.Because the keys are flat, that there's basically no room between them, that they're easy to hit, and that they're huge makes this the perfect keyboard for older (or younger) people with vision problems. It also makes typing insanely fast.Backlit keyboards are nice but if one can't type well on them they're kind of useless. In short, this keyboard is amazing, and I understand why so many people raved about it.It's probably one of the better old school windows keyboards I've used in a while.Edit: O.k. my last statement might have been a bit over the top, but that's because I haven't used a windows keyboard in about a decade. This one got relegated to a shelf because my mother just could not type on it.We went with the Azio Usb Backlit 5 Colors (KB506). The travel is much shorter than this keyboard, and with the backlit keyboard my mother can now actually type with minor errors. Some people respond to the black and yellow, but after seeing the back lit I think it's a better keyboard. As for the Azio, make sure you get the 5 color, and not the 3 color.

I have vision issues and this keyboard, though not super high quality, is easy to see. For the low price, it's functional. Easy to type on. Keys are a bit bigger feeling. So there is a bit of adjusting learning curve. But it does the job. My next keyboard, I will pay more for one that has a bit of backlighting.

This keyboard is awesome for my Dad who has low vision due to macular degeneration and is legally blind. He can see enough to use the keyboard and operate his computer. The contrast and large printing on the keys are very helpful.

I needed to replace keyboard. l have worn out the old keys. Perfect. Easy to switch. Great price. Being in my eighties, I needed a keyboard that has great contrast and ease of using.

The keys are easy to see in dim light, which is the main feature of this keyboard. It's not sophisticated, and I miss the secondary functions usually found on the Function keys.

Just received my new keyboard. I am extremely happy with the product. I recommend low vision impaired people like me to purchase this keyboard when using the internet, for emails etc.! I am blind in one eye and the other eye is slowly loosing vision. Picture might look a little dark that being said bright lights hurt my one eye. This keyboard will allow me to have fun on the internet and post and send out all my emails without any errors. Product is worth purchasing!

At first I loved it big letters on the keyboard. Then I found a few glitches by some keys didn't match what was printed on them. But this was easily remedied by downloading the US version of the keyboard stored in your computers memory. Then the keyboard worked well and I'm still loving it
