The sound of the rain stick is good. But they forgot to sand down the stick. There are sharp bumps where the branches were and they can cut your hand.

The nails are sticking out so it’s not smooth. Some are even and others are sticking out and are sharp.

Wow. What an unfinished product. Small sharp Nails or metal spikes raised on the wood from bad manufacturing. So if you are using this beware that there may possibly be sharp metal coming out. I ended up cutting the raised barbs down and sanded off. As percussion, forget it. It’s more of a rain stick that has spiraling action inside. I will either throw it away or use it as kindling for the next campfire.
