I love to make Chicken Tortilla Soup. This is exactly what I needed for frying the tortilla strips! It is sturdy. I don’t get burned. It drains the grease. It the perfect design for this purpose and it is reasonably priced. It is huge so I store it standing with my other oddly shaped kitchen utensils.

It is larger than I expected in size but will keep it for my larger cooking pots. It’s a very sturdy spoon. Well slotted with a nice wooden handle.

alright this slotted spoon is huge but that's actually why i picked it up i cook alot of fresh pasta and this makes getting cooked pasta out of the boiling pot extremely easy this spoon is extremely sturdy and made with excellent materials ships from china so it's going to take a week or more to get but worth the wait

shocked at how heavy duty this slotted spoon is .. and its pretty large... will most likely have this for a lifetime, its that good of quality..

After using a month, the handle where the wood is attached starts to turn so it's causing me to tighten each use. Do not recommend.
