I bought 2 boxes, I was worried about how they would ship. These were packaged with care. No damage at all.These boxes are so easy to put together. They are sturdy, the magnetic closers are a plus.I will be purchasing again.The value and size is perfect for what I need them for. The color red I chose is shiny, smoothAnd very sturdy.

Tips to get the most out of this box:- The adhesive isn’t that great. If you’re using it for anything that weighs more than a couple of pounds, or as a gift, I’d highly recommend using some hot glue over the adhesive to ensure that it stays together. I’ve used this box without adding any extra glue before, and it has always fallen apart after a few days. Plan ahead so this doesn’t happen to you! You don’t need much, a small swipe in the center of the adhesive tabs. If you plan ahead, it’s WAY easier to do this before you assemble the box. Just take all 4 adhesive backings off, swipe some hot glue on the tabs, and then pull the sides of the box up as you normal would.- The magnets are low quality, so don’t expect the box to stay shut right out of the packaging lol. Any outward resistance will cause the flap to pop open. To counter this, try folding the flap down on itself a few times (towards the inside of the top of the box) to decrease its rigidity. Weighing down the box from the top without addressing the rigidity of the flap isn’t going to help it stay shut, because the magnetic flap attaches to the side of the box. You should be able to fold the flap over without much resistance, so if the flap feels stiff, fold it down and hold it there for a few minutes to loosen it up! That should help it stay shut!- Don’t overfill the box! This seems obvious, but because the magnets are weak, even the slightest nudge will cause the flap to pop out. The top of your items should reach no more than 1cm below the top of the sides! I definitely wouldn’t recommend filling the box to the brim if you want it to stay shut! If you can’t do this and are planning to use this box for a gift, I’d recommend taping the sides of the box down to ensure it doesn’t open before you gift it!TL;DR Great gift box; looks pretty and the cardboard is durable! 1/2 star removed for the poor adhesive tabs and another 1/2 star removed for the low quality magnet.
