Expensive fixative but highest rated that I found. I always use it outside just to be cautious as these types of fixative always smell awful. It works very well, however, and keeps metallic and sparkling gel pens from smearing or transferring to the opposite page. I use it on every page of coloring that includes gel pens.

So far, so good! Fixed Caran D'ache Neocolor II water color crayons on gesso'd wood, which is why the reason for its purchase. Pricey, stinky, but my crayon marks stayed in place with 3 light coats and the canvas no longer has the strong odor. Make sure you have proper ventilation!

This is the best fixative spray for my pastel drawings. It sprays evenly, and does not make splotches on my art work like other sprays I have used. It costs more, and, believe me, it is worth every penny.

This is terrific fixative! It sprays on evenly, you only need a couple of layers of spray and the smell disappears quickly - within 20-30 minutes.

I like this fixative but be wary if you are spraying it over an alcohol ink painting, it may alter your artwork. I found that if I sprayed too close to the painting, the droplets from the fixative left dots on my work.

I created my own Christmas cards this year using watercolor pencils and I sprayed them with the product to set the colors. I am extremely pleased and would recommend it to anyone.
