These parts seem as well made as the originals. I originally wrote that the cam did not have an o-ring like the original cam, but I then realized there was a gasket that was supposed to be used with the cam. When I installed the gasket, there was no leak. So I guess the problem is with the directions, which were practically nonexistent. I also had some trouble getting the seats in properly, although I have replaced the seats before and had that same problem, so I don't think the problem was the part itself, just that the process is a little finicky.

BEST repair parts seller aside from original equipment.I've been plumbing for 20 years, and worked in a Hardware store for 15 years before that. Given all the brands available and having used a number of them, I find the LASCO branded are the best option you can buy. More often than not, they simply repackage parts from the original manufacturer, rather than contract with some company to manufacture for them. This is most probably the case with DELTA repair parts.

First off, see that "Delta tool" -- the thing with the Allen wrench on one end, and some other wrench on the other? Good, because you won't see it in the package you receive. Instead, you'll get a cheap Allen wrench and, separately, some flat metal thing that has no discernable purpose. The Allen wrench, a simple device, works, of course, but it's not as easy to hold onto or turn as the one misleadingly pictured -- which may even have been the reason for your deciding to order this particular kit as opposed to other, cheaper ones that -- like this kit -- don't have that tool but which, unlike this one, honestly represent that they don't have it.Secondly, once I "repaired" my Delta single-handle faucet, it leaked 10 times as much as before. At first, that was because I had watched some moron on YouTube who neglected to mention that that metal ball thing has to go in precisely a certain way. It has a slot that some little bump has to fit into in order to hold it in proper place. Okay, that part was my bad. But once I got that straight, I still ended up with a leaky faucet. Now maybe I still didn't put it in right, I can't be sure. There's nothing obviously wrong-looking about that ball thingie. But when I got the idea to try putting back the old metal ball -- since there was nothing really wrong with it -- everything finally worked. I can't explain it. I report, you decide. And third, this kit, lacking the Delta tool and which may or may not have a functional metal ball, is overpriced. For $12.99 at Lowe's you can get a kit that actually does have that Delta tool and which also has the little diverter thing that you may or may not need. (Supposedly you need to replace that if, when you use a sprayer, a large percentage of water still comes out the faucet.) I can't vouch for the metal ball in the Lowe's kit, though it looks similar to the one in this kit. I can vouch for the Delta tool, which, unlike in this kit, is actually there. So just go to Lowe's. Spend less, get more, and if it doesn't work you can return it. You'll also need some plumber's silicone grease for the O rings, which you can get at Lowe's for 3 dollars and change. And at Lowe's -- unlike here -- what you see is what you'll get.

Easy DIY fix, much better than a 100 dollar an hour Plummer!Don’t forget to shutoff the water, step one!

This fits most of the classic style Delta kitchen single handle faucets. If you are not sure other kits include parts for both models. Very poor instructions and parts looked different than what I took out but fit. Order non toxic silicon grease when you get kit. Grease costs almost as much as kit so would be nice if they had included the dab you need. But first watch rebuild videos on YouTube. In fact watch several. Assembly procedure is not obvious. Mine leaked so then I watched video and had to redo it.
