They say you get what you pay for but this little tool exceeded my expectation.Easy to use but it's imported so you know how instructions can be. Nicely made and well designed. I'm glad there are several brightness settings as bright is distracting. Get it manually level within 4° horizontal and vertical then it takes over. If you don't have anywhere to hang with it's rest magnet with bracket (nice touch) you'll need a tripod. The level has the right base on it to use with most any tripod. Remember it works only if you get it within 4° level. So this means that if you wish to operate at heights you'll need either a taller tripod or some other metal surface on which to hang it. Nice product and is buy it again.

Got this very quickly after ordering and immediately put to use. I first used it inside while finishing my basement to plumb a wall and then to square my drop ceiling. Though the level has a limited "swing", if you are willing to experiment a bit, I got it to work both for the wall and the ceiling.I then moved it outside and use it to level a base for a shed. A transit or camera stand would have been very helpful, but I laid it on a concrete black that worked fine. I have also used it to hang pictures, which is a huge help as the line extends a long distance, but you may need to lower the lights to see it.The level is rugged and comes with everything you need to put it to use right out the package. The case fits the level and all accessories, but not super heavy duty. It works just fine for what I needed it to.This is very handy and useful gadget!

For the price it works great. Range is limited during the day, but I've used it to pitch a 60' long drain pipe by waiting until the end of the day to be able to see the laser on my tape measure. Much more useful if you have a small tripod, but can't complain for the price.

It's functions as it should, but using it outside is nearly impossible. It's not bright enough for sunlight more than a few yards

I didn't realize how useful this would be before I bought it! Using a line level and pencil marks across the wall have always been good enough for me, but when I used this, I was delighted to find how awesome it was. I've used it half a dozen times since purchase, and have been pleased every time. Battery life seems acceptable, and though it's only seen light use, it has so far been reliable. I recommend.

This is very easy to use and incredibly useful when hanging wallpaper so no need to draw the plumb line onto the wall anymore. This gadget takes all the guesswork out of judging if curtain rails or pictures etc are level on the wall and you don’t need help from someone else to undertake these little diy tasks.
