Great straps. Strong and quality made. Nice length. Perfect to get the job done.

These straps are an interesting combination of heavy duty and light duty. They could probably be the basis of an engineering study. The nylon straps are definitely heavy duty, with stitching that will never let go of the buckles. The buckles themselves feel extremely light and thin. However, the design does incorporate reinforcement for everything that will be stressed IF the strap is being used as designed. The teeth in the cam that hold the strap in the buckle are quite aggressive, but without sharpness that would damage the strap material. After some informal tests with hydraulics, I am inclined to believe that these straps will perform as advertised. Again, that is IF they are used as intended. Any nervousness I might have is also easily mitigated by adding another strap, since these come in a package of twelve. At about two bucks a strap, this product is easy to recommend for everyday use.

These straps are essentially as described, except the material. The Straps are tightly woven. They are the full advertised 1" wide. They are 1/16" thick. The ends are well-fused and cut at a 45 degree bias making them easy to insert into the cam buckles. Each strap has an attached material and load rating tag. While the buckles are as described, the metal is on the thin side compared to others similar straps I own, and are barely wide enough for the straps to fit in. Having said that, the straps do install in the buckles and the buckles do hold the straps tenaciously with no slipping under load. The reason I took off one star from the rating is that the written descriptions and diagrams for these straps refer to them as nylon material. The strap labels identify the strap material correctly as polyester, however, not nylon (see the last description picture in the left column of the description pictures/diagrams). The description Material paragraph confusedly references both nylon and polyester. The straps are indeed polyester, not nylon. Polyester and nylon are not in the same family of plastics. I have no problem with the straps being polyester. Though polyester is a little less water resistant and not as soft, it does tend to have a little better UV resistance. But the description should be corrected as these are not nylon straps. Functionally, I am happy with these straps.

These are pretty standard lashing straps. I've purchased very similar ones from the big discount tool retailer in the past. The strap (flat nylon webbing) on these is a little more plasticky and a somewhat stiffer than the ones I have used in the past, but I got them a long time ago and just about every manufacturer is trying to reduce costs - so not surprised.Other than that, these are pretty good. The stitching that secures the strap to the buckle looks like rock climbing equipment - first rate. The heat sealing on the ends of the straps is nice and thin. If that isn't done right, it can be hard to thread the strap into the buckle. The label on the strap rate them for some incredible amount of force - something like 3300 pounds. I wouldn't park my wife underneath a load that heavy when supported by one of these straps but for just about anything else, I would trust them. The current list price on these seems really good. Like, I wonder if they made a mistake. So, yes I recommend these.

They are long - very long! And if that is not long enough for you, you can combine a couple of them together. When hauling wood in my truck I like to cinch the wood together and usually use ratchet straps which is overkill for securing the wood together. These work like a charm. The latch is not heavy duty so I would not have a lot of faith in putting pressure on it to hold something heavy on the truck like a rachet set can do. These are perfect though for strapping down where the weight is sitting on the truck bed and the goal is to secure the payload down against the bed. The latches work well and are easy to release the strap.

OK, so the first thing that came to mind as to how I would review these, is that the clasp springs are quite strong. They provide ample tension on the strap so you won't have to worry about it coming loose or apart. They arrived so well organized, I was afraid to disturb them. I appreciate that they are long for loads that require a good synching. I guess, since there are so many included with this set, if you wanted to cut a few and heat the ends, you have that option. I am impressed and so happy with my order. I hope this was insightful and beneficial to you.

Hard to beat $2 for a 12ft strap, quality is even better than what i expected. The cinch buckle is pretty heavy duty and there is allot of stitching around the shackle and the strap it self.

These are good budget cambuckle straps. They're definitely not as good of quality as NRS and some others, but they are good for the price and should work well for securing kayaks and similar. 12ft length is great as they can be used with kayaks on a trailer or roof rack or cut down as needed. I don't anticipate these lasting as long as some of the more expensive ones, but again really good straps for the cost.

These Lashing Straps are absolutely fantastic! The 12ft length and 1-inch width offer just the right amount of versatility, and the adjustable cam buckles make tightening and securing items a breeze. I’ve used them for securing my kayak on the roof of my truck, and they’ve held up great in all conditions. The heavy-duty nylon feels super durable, and the straps are easy to release when I’m ready to unload. A great value for a 12-pack—highly recommend for anyone who needs reliable tie-down straps

The 12 pack of straps comes with a nylon storage pouch with drawstring. The strong nylon straps measure 12ft3in in length x 1†wide x 0.044†thick and the material feels very durable. The black zinc alloy buckle is simple to operate, just push down on the spring lever and feed the strap from underneath. Once you release the latch, it will press down on the strap and does a good job holding it in place.Amazingly high load weight of 1763lbs with a maximum break weight of 3500lbs. With the straps locked in place, I pulled on it fairly hard and there was no slippage. The long 12ft length of the strapping maximizes its uses as it’s long enough to strap down most items, and if you need additional length, you can link multiple straps together.Overall, I found the StrapsPro lashing straps compact enough to keep them in a bag when you travel or in the car as part of your emergency kit, definitely a versatile tool.At the time of this review, the straps were priced at $39.99.
