My 2nd latch hook as an adult - easy but engaging bc you constantly have to check the grid and count the squares to use the correct color. Yarn came in a plastic carry case, with plenty of yarn leftover. I used the hook provided. This has a back to it, which I wasn’t used to, but got used to it and realized a benefit is you can fold the mat in half and work closer to your body/eyes, without accidentally undoing yarn on the other side. The mat is stamped, but not with the correct colors - so I relied on the key/pattern page which was easy to use. I would recommend this as a gift for yourself or others!

Missing both lavender and purple, pink and black yarn. That’s unacceptable. It’s been months since I ordered this for my mother and she finally is able to start it and now is totally disappointed and doesn’t want to start what she can’t finish without buying multiple things of yarn.Update: after leaving the above review I was contacted and the company made it right and sent me a replacement. Changed from one star to five star for excellent customer service despite being out of return window.

I am so pleased with this kit. I got sick and while recuperating wanted something easy to keep me occupied, this was the perfect something. I haven't done latch-hook since I was young and was delighted how easy it was to pick up. The pattern is easy to follow. The materials with the storage box, so well organized and labeled. The backing of the pillow is a nice quality. This is a terrific kit fir a beginner.

This product came as described. What I didn’t like is that I could not go by the colors pre-printed on the canvas. I had to keep referring to the paper reference. So It took more time to complete than I expected. I worked on it a couple of hours everyday, it took 3 weeks to complete.I am happy with the final result had extra pieces of yarn left over.

Brought back memories of latching a rug as a kid. This is a beautiful pillow when complete. I love the finished product!

I have worked a couple by this company and the end result is nice. But be aware that you need to inventory the colors in the package within your return window. I had one I pulled out to work and it was missing one of the colors. As I got this to make and give as a gift I will now have to buy and cut the strands in the missing color because it is past my return date. The pattern doesn't quite match up with the instructions but you are still able to follow along with adjustments.
