The set arrived in great condition from shipping. Little heavier than I expected but that is not a negative and actually a plus to me... seems very well made and sturdy. Will take these for drum circle... will travel well. Sure these will last forever. Sound was great and solid. I love a more bass drum for group drumming... these didn’t disappoint. Size is excellent. Not too large for my small hands (I’m smaller, 5’5â€) but my sons (one is 6’5†the other 6’3â€) also played them and said they were great. So I think they are versatile. Sound great but also a beautiful little set of drums. And easy to tune. (Though they didn’t really need it when they arrived)

I played drums whenI was younger and now at 65 find that option to be not convenient and or as easy as it once was. I purchased an individual Congo drum a few years back but even that isn’t enough for sitting around listening to music. I briefly watched a short instruction video on the proper technique for tuning and playing a simple constant 3 hit beat and now have found them so enjoyable to play to almost any song at all. LP makes TERRIFIC percussion instruments and these are an excellent affordable option for any and everyday use. Nobody from beginner to expert would argue. The sunburst color is also extremely rich looking.Spend@few moments watching one of the instruction videos and anyone can play to their hearts content.

These are professional grade, very sturdy construction, the weight of them is impressive. These are going to last for years and years. The tone is outstanding, easy to tune with a wrench. The price for such a high quality instrument cannot be beat. You could easily play these in a professional band. Outstanding!
