It seems I misplaced or am missing a key, they’re sending a new with no problem! Also, the pencil tray snapped, which made me so sad. It does still work, but they’re sending a new one for me also!!Incredible customer service. Kyle was so kind!! This is also amazing, gorgeous filing cabinet!! The locking is flawless!! Size is great too, I almost got the none slim - however, I’m glad went with the slim instead for a little extra space under my desk. The material of the desk feels nice and it doesn’t look cheap. I almost went with another just to ensure I was saving $100, but I promise ya; this is worth it.

I purchased two of these cabinets to use as drawers under my new adjustable height desk. I looked at several standard small filing cabinets, and even the expensive ones looked and felt cheap with a college apartment sort of vibe. I wanted something more professional looking and based on the photos on Amazon, these seemed to fit the bill.Despite the bulkiness and weight of the cabinets, they arrived in their individual boxes very well packaged and cushioned without a scratch. "Assembly" consisted mainly of removing all of the packaging, as well as replacing the adjustable height feet with the included casters (you just unscrew one and screw in the other).The only negative was that the cabinets arrived locked and only one of the two came with keys. The keys for one cabinet did not work in the other cabinet's lock. I contacted Laura Davidson Furniture via Amazon and via their website, and their customer service rep answered first thing Monday morning. She was friendly and apologetic and mailed off a replacement master key that very day (with tracking info).The cabinets are sturdy and solid, but easy to move on the included casters. There are brakes on the front wheels that lock the cabinets firmly into place but release easily when needed. The drawers slide in and out smoothly, although you can not open them all at once to avoid tipping over. The cabinets are quite deep, and the drawers are roomier than I expected. Each cabinet holds a surprising amount given how little space they take up. My cabinets are matte black and I was worried about scratches and fingerprints, but they have already taken some dings and still look pristine.In sum, the cabinets feel like well-made, quality items and they look sleek and professional under my desk. I am very pleased with this purchase and with the seller/manufacturer. I will definitely buy from them again in the future.

I needed a small file cabinet on casters and this one is perfect. It’s got nice design and it’s continued to look and function great for a couple of years. It’s solid too.

Against my better judgment, I decided to overlook the only 131, 4.5 star reviews, and ordered this cabinet based on its dimensions, craftsmanship, and style. All I can say is WOW, I'm glad I ordered this cabinet and not one of the others with "thousands" of reviews.I believe this is a good company, look at how they pack this cabinet. They even put cardboard around the drawer openings to ensure it is in perfect condition when you receive it. It is well built, heavy and sturdy. Plus, they even consider some may want casters, and others may not- good aforethough!I'm supper happy with my purchase, its EXACTLY what I expected and need. The box it comes in says, "After searching months for a file cabinet, that was both attractive and practical, in an open office, this is the one." That about sums it up, and is 100% accurate.

These cabinets seem reasonably sturdy. I wouldn't say that the build is heavy-duty, but it isn't light-duty either. Maybe medium-duty.The cabinets are attractive, insofar as file cabinets can be attractive.I purchased two of these cabinets to slide in underneath either end of an HSH 55" Industrial Desk, also sold on Amazon. The file cabinets fit very nicely beneath the desk, leaving plenty of leg room, and provide for storage of hanging files (lower drawer) as well as office supplies (upper drawers). I'm very pleased with this home office configuration.Lastly, customer service from this company (Laura Davidson) is excellent. Phone calls are answered and e-mails receive a response.

If you want the best file cabinet for your desk, the Laura Davidson slim 3-drawer cabinet is the one. It is expensive relatively speaking but in return, the manufacturer gives you a well built, solid, nicely proportioned (slim with round edges) and heavy duty item. It is simple the best I have seen. Don't believe me, just search the web and read the reviews from reputable sources.

I have a very small office space in my home and needed a slim line set of drawers to store some essentials. I looked for ages and finally happened upon this sleek cabinet. The price tag was a little higher than I had hoped for but, WOW, was it worthwhile.This small cabinet is incredible. It’s made of heavy gauge metal, so it is sturdy. The finish is impeccable and completely free of any scratches or imperfections. The optional casters and feet are both durable and screw in to the bottom with heavy metal bolts (and the casters are locking, too). The lock works for all drawers and comes with 2 keys.The shipping packaging was amazing. The unit arrived safe and secure. The only advice I would give is to have 2 people to get it out of the box because it’s a tight fit (which is why it shipped so perfectly).I can’t recommend this item enough. A+++
