Have a Shih Tzu, she likes to eat very quickly and it would cause her to throw up her food after eating. This helped solve the problem. Does it stop her from eating quickly? Enough that she no longer throws up when eating. She will always be a little piggy though. It did it's job, has lasted years, and what more can you ask for? If it works it just works!

We have a pekingnese with a flat muzzle and eyes that bulge out. A previous food dish for short snout dogs I tried was too deep for her face and the side of her face would hit the bowl to where she couldn't reach the food. Also her eyes were in danger of rubbing on the bowl. This bowl works perfect for her. It is shallow enough to allow her mouth to reach the food but doesn't smash her face or eyes on the bowl. It has slowed her eating down. Highly recommend the bowl.

My little guy used to scarf down his food and then throw it up because he ate so fast. This does the trick of slowing him down a bit so that he’s not throwing up after eating. Perfect for frenchies! Gave it 4 stars just because it’s not the easiest to clean. Other than that though, it’s great!

This slow feeder is perfect for smooshy faced dogs that eat too fast and then throw up all over the place. The obstacles, ridges and maze makes it more challenging for my dog to get to his food thus slows down his eating pace. Prevents issues like choking, bloating and digestive problems. If you have a French Bull dog... you know what I mean. Buy this for sure. It helps!

Product works, but in retrospect I’m kicking myself for buying this. Just another piece of plastic the World does not need. Requires more water to clean than a regular bowl (yes I live in a drought region). Apart from that, took my Frenchie from less than 2 minutes to well over 5 minutes for his meal. There has to be a better sustainable mousetrap out there.

I will admit to being a skeptic of this product at first. I thought, how can this “plate†prevent all the things that it claims.Well, I’m happy to report that it’s almost been a week and my French bulldog has not vomited after eating. She started to vomit after a feeding and I figured it was from eating too fast. We tried putting a ball in her bowl, and a traditional slow feeder and they both did not help with the vomit. My french bulldog also had a hard time with both methods that I tried because of her short snout. She was unable to reach food comfortably and efficiently. Tried my shot with this bowl although pricier, and it worked perfectly.My dogs feeding time went from 30 seconds to a min to probably 2.5 mins which is perfect enough time.Very pleased with this feeder thus far.

My pug recently passed and looking through my past orders I just had to leave this review. While my pug was alive this (and I mean this literally) changed her life. She would eat extremely fast and throw up 3-5 times after every single meal. It was awful and just heartbreaking to watch. I know it was just awful for her as well because every time she threw up, she would come find me before she did so I could comfort her. After I started using this she completely stopped throwing up and slowed her eating. It was also mentally enriching for her as she was blind and I would put her food in different parts of the bowl for her to sniff out and find. This product completely changed her life and it was one of, if not the best thing I ever bought for her. My only regret is not knowing about this product and buying it sooner. I cannot recommend this product enough. You will never need another bowl for your flat-faced dog. I promise you, it will change their lives.

My pug always wolfed her food down, which always gave her wind and a bad tummy. This bowl is fantastic. She can’t wolf her food as she has to eat per section, and the design is ideal for her pretty flat face. She can reach all of her food, but this really slows her down so she eats and chews properly. Wouldn’t use anything else
