If you are hesitating, at all, about purchasing this item based upon the price, let me assure you that it is worth every penny. This is, hands down, THE best fly swatter I have ever used, and it is absolutely worth the money. It packs a nice wallop - the ONLY flies that escaped it's wrath were those that I missed. It is a very high quality item, and well made, and that is rare to find in this day and age. I also hesitated because of the price, but after reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did. The Amish certainly know how to manufacture quality items. As a different reviewer stated, do not get the swatter with the wooden handle as it will not cut through the air well, and will probably break. The wire hanger handle on this is sturdy and very aerodynamic. The natural color is also a major plus versus the cheaper (and yes, I mean cheaper versus less expensive) plastic neon swatters that are truly just a waste of money. The flies see them coming with their incredible vision, and the solid handles just do not cut through the air well, I have broken more of those than I have killed flies with them. I would HIGHLY recommend this swatter to anyone and everyone who wants to efficiently eradicate nasty flies with ease.

The fly did not stand a chance. It was a quick and painless death brought on by the Destroyer of Bugs flyswatter.Seriously my kill percentage is way up when I use this swatter. We don't get many bugs in the house but my dog is slow getting inside and in summer months a bug or two will sneak in while I have the door open for the dog. Problem was I would see a bug get up find a magazine or something to use and the bug was gone. I did not want a cheap tacky swatter in the front room and thought why not spend the money for something nice.This is a well made, good looking swatter. It snaps quickly and the delivers a death blow just about every time. Wish I did not have a bug to go after but since I do might as well use the best swatter out there.

The unique dead-weight of the leather flap makes for a perfect fly swatter. No more plastic fly swatters for me! This is my go-to now. Buy one!

Bought a pair of these lethal devices a few weeks ago, and the body count already includes two brown recluse spiders, and one black widow. No seriously, I’m never too happy to find those wanderers in my apartment, so the whack factor must be proportional to my fear!Fortunately, the construction quality is very high, and they can take quite a beating. Excellent buy! Reminds me of the swatter that my grandma used a long time ago to take care of those tiny pests.

I've now purchased three of these leather fly swatters, one to give as a gift. They really pack a punch and get the job done. The leather slaps surfaces with ease, making it next to impossible for those flying insects to escape. We also have a couple of the cheap plastic fly swatters that I haven't yet thrown away for some reason, but my family always reaches for these leather ones first because they definitely work the best! I highly recommend these!

This fly swatter is simply fantastic!The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars across the board under the features, is that the metal handle does bend some on occasion because the super sturdy leather swatter is heavy. And, of course, it would always be better if it was a little cheaper, but in today's market $20 bucks isn't a bad price for this beast of a fly swatter!I've had mine for 3 years and the kill count on this bad boy is very high. Still holding up great and I would absolutely recommend!One swat ...one kill! Maximum violence!!!Word of warning...do be careful what is under or behind the fly your swatting because this swatter can cause collateral damage!

This is old school technology at it's finest! The combination of a flexible metal handle and thickish leather pad makes this swatter absolutely lethal to flies. Feel like a spec op sniper as you dispatch enemy fly after enemy fly with the complete lack of mercy these annoying pests deserve.- Instantly kills - no "stunned" flies that wake up and torment you again. Literally smashed to pieces.- Easy to use on all kinds of surfaces; hard, tough to reach, flexibile etc. If a fly is on it, you can kill it.- Easy to clean, just wipe the surface after another take down and good as new.- No more misses. Plastic swatters have a slower whip factor that can allow flies to escape, this thing is gives the fly zero reaction time. Honestly, the poor suckers have more reaction time before they hit the average window on the highway.- It's not cheap - but completely worth it. As they say, "buy once, cry once", you will not regret it.Take charge of your kingdom!! Smashing the flying beasts into oblivion that annoy you and your family. GET THIS SWATTER!!

This swatter does its job and then some. If you enjoy knocking the guts out of flies this is the tool for the job. No need for second hit ever. Only use the finished side of the leather as it cleans easily - and you’re going to want to clean it. Handle seems flimsy but it stands up to power hits no problem. Worth every penny.

These are awesome, no flimsy plastic to break. The leather gives a satisfying smack when you the thy fly on the first try.

Don't bother with the cheap plastic fly swatters. These work great and don't break after a few weeks. Worth the extra money.
