I love this! I was so happy with the outstanding packaging and care for the product but actually using it is even better… it’s far heavier than my other mallets which makes the leather engraving even easier to do and with beautiful depth! I am more than happy with this purchase!

Does the job but it could be bigger. The handle is a little small for my hands.The weight is just a little light and a longer handle could fix that.The hammer could be fixed onto the handle too. I had to tighten it before use.Over all though its fine.

I finally purchased a maul for my leathercraft. I purchased this particular maul because the listing stated that it weighed 1.04 pounds. The maul actually weighed 10.7 ounces. The maul and the packaging weigh 1.04 pounds. But who cares what the box weighs. The maul appears sturdy to use for lighter tooling but not for setting rivets or snaps or even boarder stamps. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with the inaccurate description on the listing.
