Perfect so far. We bought a car with ripped leather seats. We cleaned the leather, cut the patch to fit and applied it. It was simple, quick and easy. We did this several months ago. I forgot all about the seats being torn. They look great! I can't even tell they're patched. Can you? We haven't had a problem with the patch beingaffected by the seat warmers. We used this on a Honda MDX. It hasn't pealed. The adhesive is very thick and gooey and seems like it will stick for a long time. Super good, inexpensive fix.

Purchased to repair a tear in my vinyl tonneau cover for my truck. After five months of being exposed to Michigan weather/elements and multiple car washes the patch is holding strong.Had an approximate 8 inch tear in my tonneau cover. Tried duct tape which last about 48 hours. Checked about using Gorilla tape, based on reviews the Gorilla tape would last a little longer than duct tape. All the vinyl repair kits I could find were not recommended for exterior use. Found this repair patch tape and from the description it sounded like it would work. Five months later the Leather Repair Patch Tape is holding with out problem. No water leaks and no lifting edges or corners. This repair tape is holding through car washes, rain, frost, snow, 90 degree sunny days, and 4 degree winter nights. Admittedly, the leather patch tape does not match the pattern of my vinyl tonneau cover or the exact finish, but I knew that going in. The tonneau cover and leather patch tape is black, so the colors match very close, not perfect but close.When installing the tape I followed the directions. Cleaned the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and waited about a half hour for the repair area to dry completely. I used the patching tape on the interior and exterior of the tonneau cover. After installing the patch I clamped the area between to boards and let the cover sit in the shade for 24 hours. The temperature on the day I installed the patch was around 75 degrees.I would recommend the Leather Repair Patch Tape. I am very happy with this product and the low price.

Installed 2/27/24 on a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan driver seat, left side of seat cushion. The piece you are looking at is about 6.5" wide, 3.5" tall (left side) and 2.5" tall (right side.) See before/after pictures. Will try to post update on durability around May/June 2024.*Update 9/6/24... still holding and looking strong. No peeling, cracking, fading, or flaking.*Appearance: The pebbled black repair patch is a good match to the OEM. The tape is slightly on the matte side, the OEM is almost semi-gloss. The patch seems to be just the right thickness, can't be too thin or it won't be durable. Any thicker and it would be a bulky eye sore. It doesn't look perfect, but we were looking mainly for function with as much form as possible.Ease of use: Cleaned the seat first with Windex. Removed any lint with a clean, dry cloth. Installed on a warm day, it was about 60 F today. The tape unrolls easily, cuts easily with a sharp scissor. Backing peels off easily. I chose to round off each corner, thought it looked better, and would also be less likely to get a snag on a rounded edge vs. sharp 90 degree corners.If you look closely, the outer edges of the patch are white. I didn't really notice until the patch was down and it was adhered very well. I tried to touch it up with a fine point Sharpie, but not really happy with how that turned out. Depending how much that bothers me, I may pull up the patch and reinstall a new patch that's 1/16" wider all around to cover my sloppiness. In hindsight, I might have been better off trying to color the edges/sides of the tape prior to applying it to the seat. I'll leave that decision up to you. Either way, just try a small sample test patch on the side first and see if you like how it looks colored/stained by a Sharpie first.Overall, happy with the purchase so far. If possible, I'd prefer to buy a car with cloth seats to not even have to worry about something like this again.

I held off writing a review for this patch tape to see how well it holds up. About 6 weeks ago I applied a pleather patch cut from the tape to cover a split in the vinyl covering on one of the arms of my computer chair. I thoroughly cleaned the arm so there wouldn't be any body oil or other contaminates that would affect adhesion. It held really well at first and still looks good, but in a week or so the tape's adhesive started to release where the patch stretched a bit around the curvature of the arm. I've been repeatedly pressed it back down, but it's getting worse. I'm sure I will eventually have to attempt to use a vinyl glue to stick those edges down permanently. The other thing worth noting is that the pleather surface on the edges of the patch has curled up slightly to form enough of a rim to be annoying. I expect I will eventually try using a file or sand paper to smooth the edges.I had really hoped this would proved to be an effective and permanent way to patch leather-like material and it seemed to do that at first, just don't expect it to stay in place as the adhesive bond weakens. It's likely it will require some additional steps to maintain it, something that might be infeasible for a surface people sit on.

Repair went smooth and looks pretty good. Adhesive backing could be a bit stronger, but 'double-edged sword' because if adhesive was stronger it would likely be harder to adjust if you don't get it positioned exactly right the first time.

I had a stool chair that needed repair and the Leather Repair Patch Tape was really good. The fact that it is self adhesive helped to an easy work. The color matched very well with the original material and my stool looks great together with the others.

Only complaint was that I wish the roll was bigger! Great product and easy to appy. nice and thick with a strong adhesive. will for sure buy this again.
