I needed a new clock to mount on the wall in my garage/work shop after my old clock died. Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock!It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value.As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only.I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed.I hope this helps!

DIGITS ARE A "GENEROUS" 2 3/4" TALL and EASILY visible from across the room! Includes an 'auto-dimmer' to correct the digit light level as needed. SUPER EASY to set and comes with a 5 Volt USB supply and with a generous length cord too. This Clock also has an internal backup battery incase of power outages (during an outage the time is not displayed, but correct time is retained). Ample mounting hardware is also supplied, but the Clock is so light I used a 2" length of Velcro with no problems at all. Order with confidence.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect in my man cave garage. Love how it stands out, can be seen clearly anywhere. I didn't need one with a temp or date. This is simple, accurate and so easy to set up. I opened the box and had it up in 15 min. Didn't need the directions. Came with sturdy suction cups to hang up also. Didn't need them either but a nice addition. Very nice long cord which was greatly appreciated. Super nice looking. Sleek, clean look. Doesn't need any improvements.

I have had this clock for 4 months now. The numbers are big and easy to read. I do like the self adjusting brightness, however... when it goes to the brightest setting, I can hear the electrical buzzing. Also, if the lighting in my room isn't perfectly light or dark, the clock will flash between bright and dim. So not only is it flashing, it's also buzzing.

I wanted a clock that I could hang on the wall a few feet from the bed, and be able to read the time at night without my glasses. This clock is perfect for that.The display is bright enough to read easily, but not so bright that it's too bright at night.A few things worth noting:- This clock does not do anything except tell you the time (in either 12-hour or 24-hour format). It doesn't have a date or any other information -- just the time.- This clock doesn't have an alarm.- Because this clock doesn't know the date, it can't switch automatically to/from Daylight Saving Time. That's fine as far as I'm concerned -- I don't mind changing the time when necessary.- The auto-dimming seems to work well.- The only minor negative is that the power adapter sticks out a couple of inches from the wall. No big deal for me, but if you're trying to use an outlet that is right behind a piece of furniture, you may need to use a short extension cord to if you want to push the furniture close to the wall.- The clock comes with a lot of mounting hardware. I didn't use any of it. I just put two small nails in the wall, and that worked perfectly. The suction cups would be nice if you were mounting the clock on a mirror or on tile.- I've had the clock for about 3 weeks, and so far it's keeping time perfectly.I'm really happy with the clock. The clock looks nice, the display is sharp and easy to read, and it appears to keep accurate time. If I need another clock at some point, I'd buy this again without a second thought.

Justo lo que necesitaba. Buena construcción, se ve resistente y fue muy fácil de instalar. Solo da la hora, no el clima ni tu horóscopo ni te lee las cartas XD. Por eso me gusta, es simple y tiene el look que querÃa. Súper buena compra.
