Two Mounting Installations:

Step 1: Clean the surface that you want to place to achieve best adhesive.
Step 2: Press the adhesive tape close to the grip with your hand, then tear off the red paper.
Step 3:Past the prepared clips on the planned surface,the press them 5 seconds to firmly.
Step 4: Put 8mm 10mm IP65 light strip through the clips, move it to the place as you need, then turn off the cover and lock the clips.
Do not put any weight on the led clips until the adhesive really sticks. They usually takes more than 24 hours to exert the greatest viscosity and stabilize.

Works well. I spaced them 12-18" apart on the top of my painted wall, excluding corners where they're placed 1" - 2" from each end of the corner. In an effort to make them removable, I purchased a 64 pack of command strips on Amazon ($10) and put those up first and then mounted these to the command strips. I believe this will work to keep paint from coming off on removal, but won't know for a few years. I didn't test first. I'm using them for the Goove RGBIC led light strip with the epoxy coating/protection. Keep them unclipped and pull the light strip tight before clipping down. They are a tad difficult to unclip once up (but doable). I've had them up for a couple weeks with no issues. Make sure to let them sit on the wall for 24 hours BEFORE adding the light strips. I think too many people skip this step and then they will fall from not adhering.

I have purchased these clips two or three times now for use in the installation of several light strips throughout my house and I can't see myself using anything else. We have used these clips to help install both Geeni and Govee Light Strips and have used them on a variety of surfaces. Textured walls, the top of cabinets, flat walls, metal, wood, and mdf and we have never once had a single clip fall. The adhesive on these things is great. If you're worried then the ability to screw these in is a huge bonus and we have done that on the textured wall just for our own peace of mind.Unlike some other style of clips one of the things I like about these is that you can fairly easily undo the clip without destroying it. Very nice if you need to make a small adjustment while installing the light strip, or even years down the road when we may need to replace any of the strips we've installed.

These really worked great with the new Lytmi Fantasy 3 LED Strip! I didn't want to use the peel and stick adhesive on the back on the light strip in case I needed to move it to another television at a later date and the clips that came with the Fantasy 3 had weak stickum and wouldn't stay attached to my tv. So I bought these 10mm mounting brackets and they turned out to be just what I needed! The red plastic that covers the stickum has a little tab on them which makes it easy to peel off, leaving you with a semi-clear clip with clear stickum on the bottom. The clip on the top that holds the LED strip to the mounting bracket is narrow enough to fit in between the LEDs without blocking the light. I highly recommend this product.

Recommend by Amazon when searched for Hue Solo light strip clips. Too narrow for Hue Solo. Returning.

I bought these to re-attach LED strips to the back of a new TV that I bought after removing them from the old one. Unfortunately I bought the wrong size, so they wouldn’t fit the strips that I have… These are clear on top, but do have some color on bottom. The backing paper is extremely hard to get off - But once off these stick very well.. they click closed & are a little difficult to reopen once closed. They are very easy to install (other than removing the backing paper).. I have bought the same brand in a larger size & they work really well! They haven’t shifted, slid, or come off - They are extremely durable! These are an AMAZING VALUE for the money especially for as many clips as you get!Seeing as I now have 2 packs in two different sizes - I really like these clips! They are so versatile & able to be used on different surfaces! You won’t regret this purchase!The only cons are: Paper being hard to take off. Not knowing how to remove them if/when you wanted to (even though it says they are removable)
