I love this product! My coworker does not. She says it's too slippery and doesn't cause the stickiness to the paper. The key to this is when you get it on your fingers rub your fingers together for a couple of seconds and then it works amazingly. "Better than spit" is what I call it!

This is not only a good product but Amazon's price easily beat the price of the big red office supply company. I went to the local big red place and they wanted $4 for one tub of this stuff, and here on Amazon you get two tubs for $4 and change.This is good stuff. The tub has a little sort of rubbery tab on the bottom that holds it still on the desk while you're rubbing your fingers in it. The stuff really does help you work easily with paper and hand it out quickly, and it's much more hygienic than licking your fingers. I've used it 50 or 60 times so far and so far as I can see the tub still looks untouched, so it's going to last a long time.The stuff is hygroscopic but that hasn't been an issue for me. I did manage to knock the stuff out of the tub and onto the floor, but I just picked it up and put it back in. It's much more of a solid than a jello-like substance.The stuff does a nice job of helping you sort papers but does not leave any sort of gross or sticky residue on your fingers. After four or five minutes it's just sort of gone and then you get a bit more.Love this stuff.

I used to use this when I work in an office in the days before computers when everything was paper. Now I have the bad habit of licking a finger to sift through mail, magazines & books, but in a world of Covid-19 that has become dangerous so I purchased this. It works as well as it always has and I can give up a disgusting lazy habit. It also lasts a long time so I gave the 2nd one to my sister. Well worth the price.

I have used Sortkwik for at least 25 years and have always liked it, much better than using a finger cot. There are only 2 negative things to say. It does get hard after a while. It can be heated (very carefully) to change the location of the product. (I elevate 1 side and put it in the microwave NOT MORE THAN 5 seconds at a time). The other negative issue that didn't used to happen...the tacky stuff becomes loose from the container, which is very aggravating when if falls out (it gets dirty on the floor)! I will still buy it and so should you.

The product works well. If it dries out because you always leave the cover off then just add a little water, cover it up for a couple days, pour off the excess water and you're ready to go. Refreshes it fine!

I've used sortkwik for years and years, ever since my first job as a bank teller (cause you do NOT want to be licking your fingers when handling money!) I've always found it helpful when going through lots of papers. My last job was paper-heavy and I went through this stuff pretty fast. It's just so much better than licking your finger or wearing a little rubber tip on your finger - I always though those got really gross. I even travel with some just in case I have a lot of papers to handle for some reason! I kinda love it.

These are great! I first used these about nine years ago when I was working in an office. Now that I teach, I use them to moisten my fingers before passing papers to my students and whenever I need to go through a pile of papers quickly. They last such a long time. I have been teaching for eight years, and I have only bought two sets -it would have probably been only one if I hadn't given one container away and the other one had not disappeared. My students are always curious about them, and ask to touch it -good thing they are hygienic! I gave some to a fellow teacher and to my sister-in-law as a gift when she first started teaching, and they love it. My brother-in-law subbed for me, and he said he liked them too. Bought for the boyfriend who is an amateur magician. Not much to say about it really except that he reckons it will last forever as there is so much of it and it does feel nice on the fingertips, not sticky or anything nasty

It does the job (kind of) but it’s not great. When the weather is warm, the gel does start to melt and get gross. The good thing is that you can use a tissue to wipe off the top layer.
