I’m using these in handy boxes with 12 ga. wire. Space is limited, and grounding the box and switch/outlet separately adds an additional pigtail, in some cases a total of 5. Although this wire nut it is rated for 5-12ga. wires, it’s hard to manage that in these small boxes. I struggle with 5-12’s in any situation. The pass through option eliminates 1 pigtail. They bite hold of the wire just fine, and release if you need to unscrew them. The curved wings take a little more strength to tighten securely, but are less obstructive when folding everything back into the box. These are making the job easier, and at the time of order were priced the same as Tan Twisters.

Great value for the cost. Pretty basic but they do the job intended. Overall i would purchase these.

It wouldn't seem that a simple wire nut would be hard to make properly. However, I've received some that didn't grip very well and didn't make the grade. The biggest problem I've encountered is an inner spring that was made with round wire that wouldn't bite into the electrical wires. These wire nuts hold onto the wire very well. When I removed the electrical wires following a pull test you could see the indentations where the wire nut gripped the wire. I further disassembled a wire nut and verified that the inner spring wire was square/diamond in cross section. One angle of the wire was directed to the center of the wire nut providing the necessary grip. This is the proper way a wire nut is to be made.Review the product listing for a good laugh as it is obvious the person doing the drawings hasn't ever used this type of product. These, green wire nuts with a hole in the end, are made for joining neutral wires. The center hole is to pass one wire through to connect to the grounding screw on your switch/outlet/etc.I am satisfied with my purchase and can recommend this product.

These wire caps are for ground wires only! They show them being used for other wires in the images, which would certainly be a bad idea because of the opening at the tip of these wire caps. For the purposes of my review, I'm comparing these to the Ideal Greenies, because that's what I'm used to using. Both are UL listed and are flame retardant and heat resistant up to 221 F. They compare pretty well, and both serve the same essential ground wire capping function whilst still allowing a lead wire to come out through the center of the cap (for efficient/tidy boxes). Although these seem to be a harder plastic than the Greenies, the wings are not as wide, which can make them more difficult to twist by hand, but can provide marginally more space in the box. The ridges and dimples on these might provide slightly better grip though. The conductor in these is a silvery aluminum color, whereas the Greenies are slightly more copper in color. The most notable difference is the spec for max capacity, these state up to (5) 12 gauge wires, wheres the Greenies indicate a capacity of just (4) 12 gauge wires. I've used dozens of these thus far in a recent renovation and I'm pretty satisfied with them, they twist on snug and confidently, no complaints. I'm not going to make an argument for which is better, but for grounding purposes, I have no worries about trusting these wire caps from Leepenk to do the job.

These are tough and nicely finished ground wire nuts with a hole that eliminates the need for making a pigtail. Simply cut one ground wire longer than the others, pass it through the hole, and twist to secure them. You can see the UL mark, which indicates it has been tested and certified for safety. The nut feels sturdier and looks more rugged compared to the ones I typically get from local stores. The package is huge, so I’m not sure what I’ll do with all of them, but the 300-pack is a great bargain for the quality—I’ll probably never run out!

I use wire nuts daily and these are comparable to most. Not much to say… they’re stout and haven’t had any problems with the spring coming out or plastic breaking. I do prefer another name brand but these aren’t bad.
