“Beware†w/ five stars? Why, YES! Because it WILL help you maintain a budget if you use it! LoL I have been handwriting my own budget for years. At one point I was even offered a job at a military installation to teach young airmen how to work out a proper budget. The last few years though, I have gotten lazy about it because of health problems. So I have been on the hunt for a budget book that allows you to write your own bills and other expenses, and then track your spending. But all the budgeting books I had found prior to this one all had pre-labeled expenses. These never worked for me, because my expenses were never the same as what was listed.I was about to give up, and go back to hand-creating my budge, when I spied this one on Amazon and thought, “Okay, I’ll try again.†Lo & Behold, this one is ‘almost’ PERFECT! I only have two things I would change, and they are minor:1) That they would add 2 more ribbons in it (each a different color) 1 for the debt tracker pages, 1 for the monthly budget section, and 1 for the expense section. Using bookmarks is okay, but adding two more ribbons would make it much simpler.2) More debt tracker pages. At least 10-12 Debt Tracker sections would be awesome! Most people who have debt have more than 4 credit sources. I filled mine up with 2 student loans and two vehicles. There was no room for credit cards, or the mortgage, etc.Aside from these, it really has a great amount of space to keep track of your spending and financial goals. And it’s small enough to toss in your bag if you need to carry it with you. I also like how it offers an end of month financial review, so you can see if you are meeting your goals and obligations. Absolutely stunning planner. This is a must-have for anyone who's looking to start their budgeting plan or anyone who's a seasoned pro. The planner is straightforward, easy to read, comprehend, and use. The paper itself is fantastic quality and the ink doesn't seep through at all. It is well made, impressively sturdy and small enough where it isn't cumbersome. The design on the cover is exquisite. I'm so pleased with this product-- I wonder why I haven't bought this sooner! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL!

If you want an easy way to keep track of your budget and get your finances under control, I highly recommend this planner.First, the quality....over nine months in and it hardly looks worn at all. I carry this around in my purse or computer bag, so it gets lots of abuse. The paper is high quality. Some of my entries are in pencil and it erases nicely and I've never had a page tear through.The best part is how useful it is. I was having some budgeting challenges because of a job change, and wanted to be sure I was tracking my expenses and staying inside my budget. I set goals for the year, and have reached them all, and have set new ones that I believe I can can complete before the end of the year. Just being able to visualize where my extra spending was has helped me stay on track. My credit score has gone from the upper 600's to the upper, upper 700's. And I have money in my savings account, more than I've ever been able to save before.Yes, there are some pages I don't use for what they are intended. For instance, the Christmas list pages. I keep track of that elsewhere. So those pages are used for notes.Another user recommended more than one ribbon to mark pages, and that is a great idea. But that is the only thing I can think of that would make this better.

I've only just started using it, but I like it so far. It's helping me get my stuff together and try to create a budget. It's very sturdy. I like the page layouts and the fact that it is undated is a bonus. I tend to start out with a bang on these things and then drop off, only to pick it up again months later. The undated-ness will help me pick it up months later and not have a pile of blank pages. The bookmark ribbon is helpful, I like the rubberband thing to keep the book closed. The envelope pocket in the back is handy. I like that the "how to use" instructions are on a separate card and not actual pages in the book. I feel like sometimes those kind of pages are a waste. I don't often refer back to them. But I can put this card out of the way in the handy pocket in the back. The stickers are fun but I'm not sure I'll actually use them. I like the goal setting pages at the beginning. Each time I open up the book I can review those goals so that I stay on plan.

This is a great budget planner packed in a purse size book! I love that it has a monthly section but dateless so whenever you purchase this book you can start to use it immediately. It also has a section to track expenses, credit card debt, savings, goals. It provides stickers but if I use them in the monthly section it doesn’t provide me with enough room to write my bills due on that particular day (that is the only downfall). The book is very sturdy and high quality for the price. It also comes with a sewn in ribbon as a book mark, an elastic band to wrap book, and a pen holder on the side. A sleeve in the back to hold the stickers and maybe a couple of pieces of paper if you fold it down. Overall it’s a great budget book in a compact size. It’s a great planner.

This will be a great help in keeping track of their bills, when they are due, how much rent and utilities, food and gas cost. It is a great book, just as described and looks better in person. I think you'll be pleased!

Really like this budget planner.The planner comes with an instruction sheet, one was also emailed to me in digital format. This shows examples of how to use the pages along with a an explanation of how this helps which is super useful.I have never thought about longer term financial goals so it was good that it made me think about where I ultimately wanted to end up. It is great that for each month it allows you to split this further into smaller goals which makes things much more manageable. I love that both the savings and debt tracker pages have room for up to 4 different accounts with room to log the transactions, so you can clearly see how your funds are building/debts reducing.It would be useful if the calendar had an additional row, as January this year starts on a Friday, I ran out of space to put the last day of the month. Further, the calendar starts on a Sunday, which isn’t common place, but not a massive issue.I have never written down my individual expenses before and I feel that this is where I may have been going wrong previously, this book allows you to categorise each expense so I am hoping this will help me visually see where I am overspending and can cut back.It’s great that at the end of each month you are promoted by set questions to review how you managed in the month and improvements that can be made for the month ahead.The regular payments tracker towards the end can be useful to monitor if you have any changes in value to your main bills. The end of year summary can be useful to compare your expenditure in each category throughout the year, understanding your spending habits and how they change throughout the year.The book and pages themselves are good quality. The book comes with a selection of stickers, however, the majority of them have around 7 of the same kind. Since this is a 12 month planner it would be useful to have stickers that reflect this.

Just came in and already filled a ton of it out, love how it's totally set up for you and comes with cute stickers that are very encouraging and a pocket to hold receipts etc ... I think it's be nice if the book was a bit bigger with more debt and savings pages for each month to track.I didn't realize it had a month end review and year end review with questions regarding your goals and if you hit them, why you did or didn't etc .. this makes it an awesome layout for couples budgeting together. Makes it easier to make it a monthly thing to sit and discuss the months end and where you can improve. The book leads you there so it's not awkward for one person to bring it up. Just note there is not two sections for income, so you have to enter both totals into one.Anyways.... 10/10 would recommendTeamwork makes the dream work!
