I love everything about this jacket! The color is perfect - my favorite shade of dark olive gray/green - and the fit is spot on. I ordered a large even though I could have probably gotten away with a medium (I'm about a size 8-10, 5'5" and 157 lbs., but have a larger chest). However, I want to be able to wear a sweater underneath when the weather gets colder. The plaid flannel lining is a lovely deep shade of red/black and the lightweight corduroy accent compliments the green very well. Construction seems to be high quality for a shirt jacket - zipper, snaps, seams, pockets are all of a decent quality. Please note that the photos show it right out of the package, so there are some wrinkles, but they look like they'll come right out with a tiny bit of ironing. There is a hint of a "shine" to the material - nothing offensive - that indicates the water resistance. We're going to have some rain and colder weather tomorrow, and I'm eager to test the jacket! Bottom line: buy with confidence!

Overall I am pleasantly surprised by the warmth of this non-bulky and flattering jacket! As a resident of South Florida, I need a midweight jacket for those 50° to 60° “cool†days. The reviews on this jacket said it fitted too snug so most people ordered a size up however I don’t like the bulky look of big jackets. As a curvy woman with large hips and thighs being able to flatter my waistline is an unexpected bonus about this jacket. The chest and back are warm comfortable flannel and the sleeves are a silky polyester slides on easily over a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt. This is not your husband’s bulky round jacket, it has a very nice cinch in the back good for a snug fit when it is zipped and loose when open without the snowman appearance! The button pockets on the front are good for an iPhone X, however the hand slide in pockets behind those front pockets are very small, two small for most people if they want to put their hand in straight, your fingers have to be curled to fit all the way in. The breast pocket is extremely small, not suitable for an iPhone, and not securable for valuables. It is a cute detail that looks fashionable otherwise I’m not sure what function that little pocket would serve. I’m 5’5†126lbs curvy bottom heavy hourglass. I normally fit size small tops and medium pants. Happily this jacket in a Small is perfectly fitted. If you want more room, go a size up—it will still be flattering.

It's a comfortable and warm jacket. And I love how it fits, except the sleeves are too short. When you reach in front of you at all they ride up. I would not recommend this if you are working in snow.

I don't often do this, but I just got this in the mail and it is SO good.I needed a new fall jacket. I have a similar one from LL Bean, but it's getting a bit tired, the sleeves have always been a tad short for me, it's kinda thin, etc. So I wanted an upgrade and boy did I get one!I took this thing out of the package and immediately, the feel of it was way different than I expected. It's a waxed cotton, which I love, but that usually means "stiff." Not this one. It is like butter in your hands. The fit is absolutely perfect with a slight slimming effect at the waist. Perfect for layering. And this may sound weird, but I also love the color of the collar. If you wear any makeup, and for me, I only use face powder to get the shine off my oily skin 🤣, if you have a pop up collar like this, you know the makeup transfers and the coat looks dirty. Well, first of all, it's soft enough that you can easily fold it down, but if you want to pop it up, you don't have to worry about that obvious makeup transfer. This is literally the perfect fall coat. Worth every penny and I plan to wear it until it falls to pieces.

Really nice jacket, I read reviews, measured with the size chart and ordered an XL.. I could zip it up barely with a light sweatshirt underneath it . Exchanging it for a bigger size. Really like the look of it and it's a beautiful jacketUpdate . Got the larger size & it's fits great . I can wear a bulky sweatshirt underneath and it fits great!! Best of all it was 30%off when I exchanged and reordered it!! This is a beautifully made jacket!!

I love this jacket! It’s well made, looks great, fits correctly and is about half the price of a similar type jacket on Orvis or LL Bean. It’s warm enough for chilly fall mornings and evenings without feeling heavy. And I love the hand warming pockets! As far as size, I’m 5’5†110 lbs and bought a small. It’s a little roomy but it’s contoured and doesn’t look baggy. I’m so glad I found this!

This is a really warm coat and great if you want work in an actual barn or outside. Zipper functions really well and the lining is really comfortable. Overall nice coat in terms of function. So why am I giving it a three star? Because of the big arrow going down one of sides in the chest area. Looks ridiculous and stands out. I did not even notice it when I ordered it but when I put it on at home, I was taking it aback. The functionality is high, so I kept it, but I won’t wear it out and about with friends or anything like that… saving it for raking the leaves and doing yardwork!

I was looking for a barn jacket for fall wear. Found this gem on Amazon. I love everything about it. It is well-made with sturdy zippers and snaps, and fits perfectly in the loose-fitting way that barn jackets are meant to fit. I love the burgundy colour. The fabric weight is perfect--not flimsy like a shirt. Beautiful lining, too. I have had a few compliments on it and I've only worn it a few times so far.Price was reasonable, too. Highly recommend.
