I bought these for a lesson on pastimes from the 1700s for my 8th graders students. While this is a modified version of what would have been used then, it was a big hit with the kids! Very few of them had ever heard of jacks, but they all enjoyed it. It was great to get them away from their computers and onto something interactive and fun! Now, when we finish our lesson early, they ask to play jacks!I had a bit of a problem with the order, but it was quickly and professionally addressed by the seller.

This was ordered for my eight-year-old great-granddaughter who has never seen or played jacks. I told her about them and she wanted some, so she will get them as a stocking-stuffer. The jacks arrived early and are just as I remember from my childhood 70 years ago. Thanks for bringing back great memories and for allowing her to make new ones. She will be thrilled!

I was so surprised by the quality of the metal jacks. They are finished metal- no rough edges and a slight weight to them, which is good. These will last a long time.
