The tool lanyard itself is excellent and holds up well. The lanyard does not stretch out like other, non-branded, ones do. Some lanyards are used on a daily basis, with 8-lb hammers and other heavy hand tools. You can tell they have been used, but they still have good reflex when the hammer or tool falls.Our only complaint is the locking carabiner. The carabiner is lacking. We use the lanyards in industrial construction, so we are hard on them, and the carabiners fall apart fairly quick. The main issue is the screw lock on the hasp, wears out and finally just comes off. We use carabiners we buy from elsewhere.If the carabiner was better quality, preferably TWIST-LOCKING or AUTO-LOCKING, i would give it a full 5-stars. Again the lanyard itself is excellent and holds up to the abuse on an oil rig.

Good product but the carabiner crap. Lost the springiness but it does lock with the screw on. Still works.
