I like these because unlike some similar products, they test for 4 things, i.e., they also test for "hardness." This is supposed to be important because if the hardness isn't right, it can damage the plastic linings on your hot tub. I have the "Softub," which does have a softer plastic liner vs. the hard plastic of the fancy ones. What I DON'T like is that often the colors on the strip (after you take the measurement) are often slightly different-hued than the colors you're supposed to match them against. Like, coral vs. pink, or teal vs regular blue.... Maybe that just happens when the strips are older; you have to keep them tightly sealed in a cool dry place! The new batch seems to match up better. I get these because they're a good price and I really don't know enough to compare brands nor do I have the time to mess with it. Cheers!

I bought these to use for our 450 gallon 5 person hot tub. There are two different types available... these are for use in tubs using bromine as a base for chemical. Be sure to check before you buy to make sure you order the correct test strips depending on your chemicals. The strips worked well, read easily and quickly, and were accurate. Good deal for the price, cost about the same as they would in stores. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good deal on spa test strips.

I agree with the earlier reviewers. These are the best pH test strips for spas that I have used. We tried a cheaper brand (AquaChek), available from both Walmart and our local spa supplier. These strips are easier to read, the colors are brighter and more distinct from one another. And they seem to be more accurate, as the results are considerably more similar to Fisher-brand professional pH strips that I borrowed from a chemical laboratory. These LeisureTime strips are also sold directly from Amazon, which means that they ship for free with Amazon Prime. That makes these LeisureTime pH strips less expensive than the AquaChek strips, which were cheap, inaccurate and hard to read. These are definitely the best, and you won't go wrong with them.

This is easy to use, easy to read, test kit seems to be working great. Our 250 gallon inflatable spa is in very good condition. So the chemical balance must be pretty good. Been using for 3 months now. Will buy again.
