It fits loose but stays in, catches hair, and plugs and unplugs the drain. We have a tub drain in the center back of the tub. The finger-like things that normally have a screw in drain were broken. This little unit works great and allows us to hold water in the tub without an extra plug. The looseness doesn't affect the ability to function at all. It catches hair well; human and dog hair. It comes out of drain for easy cleaning. I like it.

This drain just slips right on and comes off easily. My last drain was a pain to take off. It was one where you had to loosen a screw underneath the cap. This drain just pulls out. It’s much more convenient.The only small item is the water pools slightly around the drain while taking a shower because the drain domes over the tub floor.

I wish this was more flush to the tub but it works great. Catches hair and stops water from draining when stopper is engaged. Good drain flow when not engaged. Had to use the 2nd o-ring/gasket that it came with for a tight fit. I originally thought it was a spare but decided to try it in the event it wasn’t. It is slightly bigger than the one that is already attached. Worked great. No loss of water then engaged.

This time doesn't work at all. I have a standard drain and it just lets the water right through....and yes i pushed the button. Save your money and pass on this one.

Originally bought another stopper that was sealed on the bottom. This caused water to pool up on the shower. Bought this because it's open underneath. Trade off: some hair is trapper around the stopper. The rest is caught underneath so you have to take it out to get the hair out. If you have more than one long haired person in your home you'll have to clear this out more than once a week.

We used it for a week and it seemed to filter out hairs well. However, the second time I tried to clean it, when I turned it to try to separate the filter, the head came loose and we couldn't put it back in. An internal part fell out and I couldn't get in touch with the seller.

This is the same product as the one that fits the 2†drain hole but this one doesn’t come with the extra changeable silicone gasket!!
