This is a thin resin for mixing with mica powder. It releases bubbles easily with heat. It is not a doming resin. I put a thin coat with low viscosity and a second with high viscosity resin to dome.

Pours easily with the little spout, dries super hard and tack-free within five minutes of using the UV light. VERY happy with this. I tried another brand before and hated it, because it was never tack free. This is just right.

I use this UV Resin to paint over the outside of my polymer clay sculptures. I think it is very easy to use, even for beginners like myself. I simply squeezed a bit out onto the baked polymer clay, and used a paintbrush to evenly coat the entire piece. This process is very easy. Afterwards I used a UV light to cure all the pieces. I let them go for up to 5 minutes under the UV lights and still felt that they had a bit of tacky texture to them. I ended up having to leave them out for 24hrs to fully cure. I think this is a minor inconvenience so it's not enough for me to not recommend this product, just something to consider if you do purchase this! Otherwise no complaints, no strong smell, no issues, very good for the price!

MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THEIR BONDING RESIN AS REPAIRS ARE WHAT I DO MOST. THIS HAS BETTER CHARACTERISTICS THAN BONDING BUT TAKES 3-4 MINUITS TO CURE COMPARED TO BONDING'S FEW SECONDS.I MIGHT TRY CRAFTING BUT IT NEEDS SILICONE MOLDS TO POUR IN.
