These are perfect brushes for plein air watercolor painting (outdoors on site). They are not stiff but springy and variously sized for perfect painting of tree branches and fine lines.

These brushes work great for creating long lines and letters. They are not top quality but the bristles are thick enough and have good bounce back. They are great for creating lines in watercolor, which was my main purpose for getting these.

I am very pleased with this nice paint brush set for letters and details. I have always struggled with details and lettering whist painting and thought it was something I was doing wrong. While I am a beginner to painting, I found these brushes really helped me to have better control, and the details and lettering on my latest craft project came out better than I thought they would based on my skill level and previous attempts. I am very pleased with these! They are a great value for 6 brushes. I like that this set has 6 various sizes and the brushes are marked with their size.

Nice set of brushes. These are soft but have the bristles to hold plenty of paint if you’re pulling longer paint lines. All sizes create clean edge. Easy to dip and create fine points for small details. All sizes providing plenty of options. Easy to control. Plenty of sizes for every fine detail or line work. Easy to clean. They also work for well for lettering. Work best with thin paint. Absolutely great price for this set.

The handle is well attached to the ferrule and I saw minimal shedding. The bristles are nice and springy with very few stray hairs.Installation/setup: Use with paints to create long straight lines of varying thicknesses.Final thoughts: Nice low cost striping brushes. These are not top of the line by any means but are quite serviceable for the cost. The bristles hold a decent amount of paint and hold a line well. I got these to make lines in watercolor paint and they work well for that. I like them and I’m glad I got them.âï¸1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.âï¸âï¸ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.âï¸âï¸âï¸ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

The ferrules are all well connected, so there is no wiggle, the bristles are nice and long like described and not frayed out or falling out. So overall these are pretty good brushes are a good price.The bristles are shipped with water soluble glue so they don't fray in shipping so need to be washed with water before use.

I'm just getting into lettering, so I don't have a lot of experience, but I like the variety of thicknesses and the length of these brushes. They're decent flat head brushes with natural bristles that hold a good amount of ink/paint. They're also affordable at $14, so I don't feel like I'm overcommitting right away. It kinda makes lettering a little less daunting. Other similar sets are double the price or more. Glad I was able to pick these up.

I used the smallest brush to get long straight lines in watercolor. I find that most detailing brushes don't hold enough liquid so you're refilling alot, and there fore it's hard to get long long straight lines. This one did the trick. It holds more, so you can make more of a line before needing to refill. For that brush alone this set was worth it.
