I purchased these to mount a heavy scope on a Model 70 heavy varmint. Figured the gun shoots highly accurately so better get the scope mounted well. I really like the single piece design because it gives one less point for movement and several less screws to back loose over time.

The Leupold Backcountry two-piece scope mount bolted right down to my new Tikka 3X Roughtec Lite. All hardware and screws were included. Looks great on the rifle.

Solid one piece ringmounts eliminate base and rings. Precise alignment that scopes can slide smoothly. Excellent finish. I can remove and install them many times and screws show no bare matel or shavings. I am switching all my scope mounts to this model as many as I can.

Lightweight and durable. It’s Leupold so you’re paying for what you get, but what you’re getting is a solid performing set of rings. My one complaint is just a fault in this mounting design. I’m barely in my eye relief on my Tikka and the scope I’m using. Leupold has another set of rings like this that fix the issue, but weight a little more. Just make sure the scope you’re getting is going to leave you with enough eye relief, because you don’t get any more adjustment to the scope other than the tubes length. In all thought they make an awesome pair of rings.

When I spend almost $100 on a scope mount from the world leader in scopes, rings, and rails, I would expect the necessary hardware to come in the box. I have been waiting for my Winchester Model 70 to arrive for months and had purchased the scope already. I bought the BackCountry two piece scope mount in anticipation of assembling the rifle with the scope immediately and then getting it out on the range ASAP. I installed the scope mount on the rifle only to find that they had given me 4 too few of the larger screws and 4 too many of the smaller screws making impossible to set up my scope.To their credit, when I contacted Leupold they agreed to send me the hardware free of charge. Expected turn around is an additional 10-14 days. I understand this seems like "first world problems" and I'm whining about having to wait a couple extra weeks for some hardware but understand that owning this gun was a childhood dream and I had already waited several months to find it in stock. I had outdoor range time set up and when Leupold quality control mixed up the screw count in my particular box, it set me back an additional 2 weeks at least. Anyway, I am disappointed and thus the review. The representatives at Leupold were outstanding though so I'm fairly certain this is not the normal product quality to expect from Leupold.

The rings were high quality and fit the scope perfectly however, the screws did not fit my Savage 10/110 action. The numbers 10/110 were printed on the bottom of the bases and I ordered the bases listed for my Savage rifle.... I just used the old screws that were on my rifle to begin with so, no worries now..

Highly recommend paying a little more for these mounts. All 1 piece saves so much time on installation. I will only use these moving forward.

The quality fit is the main reason for high marks.Fit the rifle - Weatherby Mark V perfectly and align very well when installed.checked with scope alignment - and they were OKPrice is a bit high - but as usual good quality means high price.
