I've own many Leupold scopes spanning many years of production. Optically they keep getting better and better. No complaint here and the company stands behind their products.If you are relatively new to the scope scene and primarily a hunter, just be a cautious, don't buy more scope than you need. Would highly recommend, great product and great American company. Will be purchasing more.W

I've only taken this out to 100 yards, but the glass is bright and clear, holds zero no problem. Basically just point and click at that range. We actually used my scope to spot my buddy's shots since he was using a cheaper scope on his rifle.The turrets have a nice tactile click at 0.25 MOA per. It has a side parallax adjustment so the reticle doesn't shift across the target if your head moves. Just adjust the eyepiece first for clarity against the sky then adjust parallax for distance to target.The reticle is just as I like it. Not too busy. It only has hashes on the horizontal. That means I dial for elevation and hold for wind.

I put the scope on a Kimber 300 win mag and I just love it this is my second one I bought and I will buy more. Made. In. America. Full warranty no matter if you are the fifth person that has owned it!

This VX5HD 3-16 w/Windplex reticle is all the power I need and only weighs 19oz. Once I develop the load I will put a custom dial on it. Then all I have to do is range, dial the range and the windplex reticle is sufficient to deal with the wind without having to dial.. The optics are bright and clear, and the reticle is easy to see when peering into dark timber areas. I did not buy an illuminated reticle and do not regret that decision at all. I can easily see before and after legal shooting light so no regrets there. The power is all I need, and now that I have removed the 2.5lb boat anchor scope and installed this Leupold my rifle is light and comfortable to hunt with. American made, lifetime warranty-what's not to like!

Like all things Leupold, this one hit the nail on the head. It was exactly as described and in perfect condition when it arrived. All the dials and knows worked right out of the box and any questions I had, Leupold was able to help with. Another win.

Mounted this on my browning xbolt 30-06. Extremely clear glass. Very good eye relief. This is my first Leuplod, and definitely won’t be the last. I was die hard other brand but wanted to go with USA made and very glad I did. This scope has made me a Leupold buyer for life. Can’t recommend it enough.
