The parka has a trim fit, presumably for young men, but is a sensational fit for average to slim older men. The super tall models are wearing ridiculously small sizes. The hem is actually long, like a traditional coat or parka. Mine entirely covers my rump and groin. The freakishly tall and skinny models make the parkas look like waist jackets.I can wear a medium in modern jackets because the sizes have been enlarged(I am 42 chest, 32 waist, LONG arms. (That was the 'Medium-Large' size of my youth, no longer made) I got a large in this 'fitted' garment, and it is an outstanding fit. It fits much like a medium Dickies jacket, though MUCH longer, and a tad more room in the belly. THE CHEST AND ARMS ARE TRIM(and sharp looking)Most brands of mens jackets are tailored like maternity clothes for huge beer bellies.Stay away from this unless your BMI is in a normal range. If you pump iron, the sleeves may be too snug, though they are a generous length, which was important to me. Indeed, only those people with long arms should consider one of these. If the sleeves fit me, they are too long for 3/4 of the population.Many coats have shockingly massive waists, but feature sleeves for T Rex arms. IF YOU ARE FIT AND TRIM, IT IS A FABULOUS FIT. If obese, this is not for you. If you are built like a walrus, this is not for you. If you have vestigial T Rex arms, you will despise the old school long sleeves.At 62, I am the same size as when a senior in high school. 5'9"+, 163 lbs.Insulation: rather modest, needs another layer if much below freezing or windy. In 24 degree weather, light activity, mild breeze, with A shirt, thin flannel shirt, lightweight FTL hoodie, and warm hat, I was very comfortable.If I had been busier, I could unzip the parka and hoodie to regulate temperature.I needed water resistance and greater coverage, and got it. I wanted a traditional look, and got it. I am pleased with the sewing, pockets, and smooth zipper. I liked several colors, though a few are eyesores.It requires layering to be sufficient in low temps, unless burning serious calories. It appears far warmer than the actuality.For those with the right shape, I strongly recommend it as a lightweight parka

Heavyweight, very warm winter coat. I ordered 1 size up because my boy is a very big kid and it fit perfectly. Great style, pockets are good size. Good is a great size too, not small like other coats.

Purchased this coat for a relative a while ago and he was very happy with the quality of it at that time. This year, the relative wanted this coat in the same size but a different color. The ease of the zipper and snap buttons, hood, pockets, longer length and not being too bulky but slightly more form fitting were reasons that met his needs to purchase this once again and we were so glad it was available.

Very warm though light weight, color, style exactly as shown. Seems good in snow or rain. Zips up and down no trouble. Size perfect for big guy. Just right!

I wanted a coat that would be comfortable to wear at temperatures down to zero farenheit. For lower temperatures I already have a bulky nuclear winter coat. This coat is just below the hip, in length, and not super bulky. That means, that I do not have to wrestle with it, getting in and out of the car. It's plenty warm enough. With a sweater underneath, at 15 farenheit, I was too hot. Seems well made and the colors are groovy.Perfect.

I purchased coat for my son and I must say I am pleased. It’s heavy enough for the cold single degree weather and stylish for a teenager. Good quality.

Took it on cold winter Canadian snowshoeing. Walk around in park. Brilliantly comfortable even for uphill and downhill mountain winter snowshoeings and jogs!! And while in car in winter, doesn't feel super hot or stuffy like some other traditional brand name winter jackets.I always had good experience with Levi products and this is no exception. The style is professional and hip at same time. And easy to wash and clean, and the material is thick enough to not get easily damaged during regular use (I had a jacket that somehow got knicked on bus and the down came out), and get still look great. The design of the pockets is very practical and stylishly placed as well. All in all a great jacket if the most cold you will go to is -30C, that I have tested. I am sure colder will be fine as it blocks wind and I only needed one layer of sweater and t shirt to feel comfortable in that cold while snowshoeing normal pace!!Size wise, go with the size that you normally take for skin layer shirts, not jackets. These are designed well so already factored that in.

I found the zipper not very smooth. Also, the zipper is on the ladies side instead of the men's side. Great jacket otherwise. Would recommend.
