My house has the midway size and I like them for two reasons:1) it looks a little more luxurious just because it's bigger2) if the drywall guys were sloppy with the cut-out, it can cover a multitude of mistakesThe 10-packs saves money.

Work great. I like that the screws come already inserted in the plate. The holes in the plate are designed to hold the screws while installing. I dislike the ones that have the screws in a seperate plastic package. These are superior.

This is a bargain, especially compared to buying plates individually. Leviton is the go-to brand for electrical outlets and accessories for your home, and this is a solid, well-made cover plate for GFCI and Decora style outlets. I purchased this for a few Leviton USB wall receptacles that I installed around my house, to replace the plug-in chargers for our phones and other devices (they are fantastic, btw--charges iPhones and iPads faster than Apple's own chargers!). These are the "unbreakable" variety, meaning if you overtighten the screws they will simply bend instead of break. That's not a problem for me, but if you haven't installed many of these before it's nice to have something forgiving, in case you do overtighten.These are slightly larger than the "standard" size cover plates, which I strongly recommend, since many builders today slap up drywall and cut the holes for outlets so quickly that they leave gaps around the boxes, which a standard size cover plate may not cover fully. They're not so much larger than standard size that your eyes will notice, but they are big enough to cover 90% of goofs in construction (there's oversized plates for the other 10%, but they're very rarely needed).If you need more than one of these, I strongly recommend buying this box of 10, because the price works out to roughly the same, and if you're like me, if you need two today, you'll probably find yourself needing more later. :)

It's an outlet cover, not much to say other than it's sturdy enough to tighten down a bit and it worked well with the GFCI's I put in.

The plate width and height are about 1/2 inch larger than standard plates and this covers a whole lot of paint and wall damage not covered(or caused) by removal of old plate.

Estoy reemplazando todos los apagadores de mi casa y con este juego de tapas todo queda muy bien. Si van a cambiar muchos apagadores viejos, se recomiendan para que todo se vea igual.

These walk plates are just a bit bigger than “standard†wall plates. They will cover up painter’s and drywaller’s mistakes around the switch or plug. And because the plastic is more flexible (i.e., less brittle) you can drive the screws much further without cracking the wall plate. Nicer appearance too.

These wall plates were exactly the same cost as what they are in the store, so this was a no brainer to me. They fit my Decora outlets and switches well, and are wide enough to cover any imperfect outlet box cuts. I did not completely crank these down for my fear of cracking them, so just stop screwing when it gets noticeably difficult.
