Very nice outlets. Leviton makes them well. The ones I replaced were in my 1920's home. I suppose the exiting ungrounded outlets were there since the 40s or 50s. When I pulled out the old ones, I noticed that they are Leviton too!

The item works as expected. Since it is tamper resistant, I believe that is why plugs are harder to insert. Also, the old power tester that uses two leads with one pin on each is much harder if not impossible to insert. I may need to get a plug type tester or just use something such as a nightlight to test for power.

Stay away from unless you want to spend all your time trying to get sticker residue off the face of the receptacle. Would never buy again just for the reason of the stupid sticker placed on the face of the receptacle stating it's a Leviton receptacle. Next to impossible to get residue off. Was beginning to wonder if it was even a legit Leviton product. Finally, finally, found a very very small Leviton stamped on the ear tab. So I need a sticker stating it ??? Other than that it's a standard 15 amp receptacle.

Easy to install it looks great. Just be careful with the electricity.
