Update 4/6/2020. OMG. At 1pm today I noticed the pump was on the ground. Something probably pulled on the cord & pulled it out of the fountain. Solar panel was still working, so I figured the pump would be burned out. But we put it back in the fountain & it took off! Awesome product!!Original review 10/31/2019: This is our 4th Lewisia pump. They are little workhorses!! So glad to be able to buy just the pump without paying again for attachments and solar panel. We use in a birdbath. Moving water attracts birds like crazy, and mosquitoes won’t lay eggs in moving water. Pump is tiny so works in a shallow birdbath. Lewisia FTW!!

Works perfectly. Smaller but works as well as BP250 in small solar powered fountain, using 5 watt panel.

So happy to be able to replace the pump only instead of buying a whole new pump/solar assembly. I use this for a solar-powered outdoor water fountain for some community cats. The pumps get cruddy and less reliable after a couple of years due to algae build up - i DO clean them and the bowl, but i can't keep up with the algae. This was a perfect fit. It looks exactly like the one i was replacing and they both said bp200 (something like that, i'm too lazy to go look) on them. The connector was exactly the same, luckily.

Bought this as a replacement pump for the BSV-SP005L model. The pump that I received does not match the dimensions that are listed. It is less than a quarter of the size of the original pump. Site says it should be 1.5 inches tall, it is barely one inch.While it does have the same power connector as my other pump, the outflow port if much smaller so the existing spray accessories do not fit the replacement pump. If the port is not the same size, they could at a minimum included an adapter between the old and new size. I’ll likely have to jimmy rig something to make it fit to the smaller port.
