Battery Backup
The battery backup model is our standard emergency light that offers 90 minute battery run-time in case of power failure. This model is great for basic lighting needs. Available both in white and black housing.
Illumination
The emergency light uses long-lasting bright white LEDs. Fully adjustable lamp heads easily allow to point the light where it is needed. Each lamp is equipped with 12 LEDs that distribute even lighting and produce 97lm per lamp (Total 194lm).
Push to Test
Easily perform the required NFPA testing: 30 second monthly test and 90 minute annual test by pressing the test button. Refer to the owners manual for additional information.

I used this LED emergency light to replace a NiCad emergency light on my basement stairs. NiCad batteries last about 2 years and this LED emergency light was about the same cost as NiCad batteries. No brainer to switch to LED. It installed easily since I already had 120V wiring to the electrical box. The lights are a very bright blue/white and light the entire stairway. This light comes with batteries. Because of the way it is packaged, the light cover is snapped into the base. You will need 2 small flat screwdrivers or equal to release these plastic locking clips. You will break the clips if you just try to pull it apart and then you will have to tape your cover on to the base. So take your time and release the clips.

First of all it works and I installed it in about 10 minutes. That is removing the 23 yr old one that quit and installing this one.I like this one better than the 23 yr old one with glass bulbs, this one is brighter. It came with the battery discharged, wouldn't light the LED's. After about 5 minutes with the power applied the light came on when I done the press to test button.Installed in a 20x40 room for when the power goes out, which it will, after all it's winter and the snow is 4 ft deep out there.I'll try to remember and upgrade the rating to 5 stars if it's still working a year from now.Good buy.

I bought this light for my house so I could see enough to get a flash light if the power went out at night. I put a plug on the light and plug it in behind the TV. The light is plenty bright to give enough light to see where you are going. I waited on the review to see about battery life. I've had the light for 15 months and the other day the power went out and the light was on and bright for 45 minutes then the power came back on.

I happened to be off work the day mine arrived. I am usually bad about procrastinating on things but i decided to go ahead and install it. About 4 hours later a bad thunderstorm swept across our state and knocked out power for alot of people. I was without power for about 15 hours. The light, even though probably didn't have a full charge yet did its job for 3 or 4 hours. It was sure nice to have it and not be in the dark for awhile. Like others said, for the money it is great. Its not a heavy duty product but for the price its not supposed to be. Just remember to plug the wires that go to the lights into the battery wire when you install it. It is disconnected inside so as not to be using the battery during shipping. I love it and reccomend it!

I installed this on a standard 3x4 single gang square electric box. The back plate has one standard knockout for wiring and a number of screw knockouts to accommodate a number of different configurations. Instructions are fairly complete but fail to mention the requirement to connect the battery to the circuit board. The light also provides a test button that works when connected to the power but does not work when not connect to power. The light is quite bright certainly bright enough to find your way of of a dark room. The two lights are also adjustable both left to right and up and down. This is well worth installing in places like basements etc.

A quick and easy install to replace an ancient beast of a unit. Would buy again if needed another unit.
