My LG fridge was getting lots of condensation between the doors. Read online that it was likely this. There is a heater in it that stops condensation. I felt mine and it was cold (it had burned out) Bought this one very easy to install and now no more condensation.

Front plate assemblies are really easy to change. However, it helps to have the right part.LG official parts website clearly lists this as the replacement part for the LFX25978ST. I ordered and installed it and had condensation issues in the fridge and saw the mullion wasn't always sitting in the track properly. After multiple calls and chats with LG, it turns out the LFX25978ST requires a different part number, AGU72969102. It turns out LG parts specifies the wrong part number. I wasted tons of time trying to figure out why this didn't work. Thankfully Amazon took it back, but very disappointed in LG.

fit refrig but it was a little different then OEM... the spring load on new one was build into it... OEM one you hade to get spring separate but all in all it worked

The part arrived on time and literally took less than 5 minutes to install. Beats the hell out of having to get a new refrigerator.

We weren’t sure if we would have to hire somebody to put that in because there was wire connected to the broken piece. But when we opened up we were able to just pull off the broken piece that was connected to the inside wire. Was so simple a two year old to do it.
